Тип учебного занятия: комбинированный урок
Цель: Развитие умений и навыков устной речи, проверка и закрепление раннее введенного материала, подготовка к контрольной работе
Задачи:
практические: Формирования навыков устной монологической и диалогической речи, проверка уровня освоенности материала
образовательные: расширение кругозора, обучение правильно использовать полученные знания
воспитательные: обучение работе в группах. Воспитание уважительного отношения к мнению собеседника.
развивающие: Развитие лексических и грамматических навыков. Формирование умения работать с опорными материалами. Применение новой лексики урока в устной и письменной речи (диалоги, предложения).
Оснащение урока: доска, раздаточный материал.
Ход урока
Организационный момент:
T: Good morning, boys and girls. I’m glad to see you! How are you?
P: We’re glad to see you too, we are fine, thanks and how are you?
T: I’m fine too, thank you. Sit down, please. Today we are going to talk about popular British sports and games.

T: Answer my questions, please. What popular British Sports and games do you know?

T: Which are your favorite?

T: What is the favorite sports of your mother?

T: Good, let’s begin our lesson with the phonetic exercise.

T: Boys and girls! Let’s play a game. Stand up, please. We check how you have learnt the words. I throw you a ball, you say the translation and throw the ball back, who makes a mistake should sit down. Is everything clear?

T: Good, let’s begin: Boxing, discus throwing, fencing, football, hiking, horse racing, jogging, rugby, shooting, sprint, tennis, volley-ball, water-polo, wind-surfing, wrestling.

Hello! I’m Andrew. I’m eleven. I’m from Sochi. It’s a town in Russia.
Our town is on the Black Sea coast.
I’m in the fifth form. I like studying but most of all I like PE lessons. We have three PE lessons a week. At the lessons we run, jump, play football or basketball, do different exercises or take part in competition. Our lessons are not boring. As for me I play for the school volleyball team.
In summer we like to swim and dive in our warm sea.
I think all children must do sports because it helps us to be strong and healthy.
