Му Favourite Book

I’d like to write a few words about the book I’ve recently read. The title of the book is «Crime and Punishment». It’s written by the well- known Russian writer of the 19^th century Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoyevsky. This book is one of the greatest novels and it is one of the most interesting crime thriller I’ve ever read. The plot of the book is incredibly exciting.

The book tells us about Rodion Raskolnikov who killed an old woman to check up his theory .

He theorized that there are some extraordinary men who can commit crime on account of their greatness and he thought that he might be one of them .To cut a long story short, Rodion was put in Siberian prison camp and understood that he was not great, he was unworthy. But all this situation helped him to meet a so kind girl who understood him.

So ,Crime and Punishment is a genius story about the human soul suffers. There are some tragic and thrilling episodes in the book. I couldn’t help feeling sad while reading it.

I think that this book is the masterpiece of literature. Everybody should read it.

My Favourite Book

I want to write about the book «Hound of Baskervilles».The author of this book is a famous English writer Arthur Conon Doyle. It is a detective story.

I think that everybody knows the main heroes of this book-the best detective of the world Sherlock Holmes and his friend Dr. Watson. Sherlock is one of my favourite heroes in all books I friend Watson is a usual man. He is very kind and friendly. The plot of this story is really amazing.

It’s filled by dramatic and horror moments. Some moments make me laugh but others make me cry.

The story of this book started from a strange murder of sir Charles Baskerville. He was killed near his family mansion. The man, who found his body, told that he saw footprints of very big dog. After this incident Dr. Mortimer roaming around London. He finds a famous detective Sherlock Holmes. He told Sherlock about a strange murder of his friend Sir Charles, about young Baskerville who wants to live in family mansion and after this he tells Sherlock Holmes

That Baskervilles family has an old legend. In this legend a giant dog with red eyes killed one

of Baskervilles and after this he tells that near Charles body he saw the same footprints like in a legend. Dr Mortimer think that «Hound of Baskervilles» is the best detective story. I have so many emotions when I read this book. So I want to recommend this book for everybody because it’s Conon Doyle’s masterpiece.
