Тип урока: II тип. Урок по совершенствованию речевых навыков и умений.

Задачи урока.

Практические задачи урока:

1. способствовать развитию перцептивных навыков аудирования и умений (понимать речь в аудиотексте, понимать общую идею и содержание текста);

2. Способствовать развитию умения говорить на основе прослушанного материала.

Сопутствующая задача урока: способствовать развитию навыка произношения звука [b]; способствовать развитию навыка письма посредством аудирования (диктант).

Образовательная задача: создать условия для приобретения социокультурных знаний об английском языке.

Развивающие задачи:

1. создать условия для развития таких аналитических способностей учащихся, как умение анализировать, сопоставлять, сравнивать, обобщать познавательные объекты;

2. содействовать развитию умений осуществлять рефлексивную деятельность.

Today we will learn more about English and the people’s attitude to it.

You are right; the key word is “listen”. Therefore, today we are going to listen to different texts. But all the tasks have levels.

2.2. Good job. The first level is done. But what about the second? It’s a little bit harder. Listen to the audio and decide which problem Glenda, the linguist, didn’t speak about.

2.3 Listen to the five speakers talking about English. Match what the speakers say (1-5) with the statements (a-f). There is one extra statement.

2.4 The forth task is to listen to the monologue. At first, you should continue the sentences. (1 прослушивание)

Then, imagine that you are Nastya and say a) why English is useful for you; b) what you know about English; c) if you find pen friends useful; d) what you are doing to know English better. (2 прослушивание)

3.1 Обсуждение в режиме T-P1-T-P2

You have listened to different thoughts about English. What do you think about it? Do you agree with the speakers? Can you add some information about English from the previous lessons?

3.2 Работа в парах

You should work in pairs now. Tell your classmate what you know about English and what you do to know it better. Maybe you have some life hacks. Then change.

Your homework is to make your own audio material (изменить на материал для выступления). Decide who you are: a linguist, another scientist or a student and tell us what you know about English and why it is interesting for you. We will listen to your monologues next lesson.

Time is limited, so you have only one minute to say something.
