Hello, Country Mouse! Nice to see you.

It’s very, very small!

Nice to see you! Welcome to my house.

A lovely house for two small mice!

Городская Мышь продолжает осматриваться и ей не нравится то, что она видит.

(очень тихо) No kitchen, no bathroom, no bedroom.

Oh, no! It’s very bare!

(раздражённо) Oh, dear! I want to go home! I don’t like it here!

Bare? What do you mean?

(извиняясь) I’m so sorry!

(раздражённо) Where’s the table? Where’s the chair?

(извиняясь) Sorry, no table, no chair!

(раздражённо) No bedroom, no bathroom, no kitchen!

Play Script 3:

Городская Мышь с презрением смотрит на угощение.

Деревенская Мышь приглашает городскую к столику.

Come along, Town Mouse. It’s time to eat.

Yuk! Yuk! I don’t like honey! And I don’t like bees! I don’t like the country! This place isn’t pretty.

Well, Ok. But … (осматривает стол) But where’s the meat, Country Mouse?

(с сожалением) Oh, I’m so sorry!

Oh, dear! No meat in my house! In the country we eat bread, you see. No meat! Bread and honey from bees!

Come with me! Let’s go to the city. It’s the best place for mice.

Play Script 4:

Городская Мышь с презрением смотрит на угощение.

Смена декораций. Городская мышь показывает Деревенской свой дом

(восхищённо) Oh, my! Lot’s of food on the table. And it looks so good!

(хвастливо) Come in, Country mouse. And look at my house! This is my living room.

(хвастливо, но с оттенком небрежности перечисляет) Here are burgers. And here are chips. This is milk. Do you want ice-cream?

(восхищённо) Oh, dear! It’s big and nice!

(хвастливо) Look at my chairs and look at the table over there!

(восторженно) Oh, it can’t be real! It must be a dream!

Oh, Town Mouse! It’s really great in your house! There’s plenty of food here!

(испуганно) Oh, help me! Hel me! This dog wants its tea! And it also wants to eat me!

Yes, it’s plenty of yummy food to eat. Take a seat, please.

(злобно рычит) Gr-r-r! Gr-r-!
