Listen to the dialog about animals

• Mum: Frodo is cute.
• Dad: Toby is cut er than Frodo.
• Mum: Frodo is talented.
• Dad: Toby is more talented than Frodo.

Read and translate the dialog, how can we form the comparative degree of adjectives?

The rule

• Когда сравнивают двух человек, два предмета или явления, употребляют прилагательное в сравнительной степени.
• The pig is large. … большая.
• But the dog is larger than the pig. … больше чем…
• Многосложные прилагательные образуют сравнительную степень при помощи слова more (more).
• The pig is beautiful. …красивая.
• But the dog is more beautiful. … красивее.
• Исключения: good – better ( лучше), bad – worse ( хуже)
