New Zealand is an island country in the Southwest Pacific Ocean. The capital of New Zealand is Wellington. New Zealand has a population of around 3.5 million. The official languages are: English and Maori. The biggest cities are: Wellington, Auckland and Christchurch. 

Climate

Climate of New Zealand is known as a maritime climate. Also, New Zealand has the best beaches for doing water-sports: swimming, diving, fishing. The most popular sport in New Zealand is windsurfing.

Christmas

Most people celebrate Christmas on the beach, because when we have a winter, they have a summer.

Attractions

  One of the best places for hiking in New Zealand is the Abel Tasman National Park. Visitors can see blue penguins, wood pigeons and other rare birds there. The Sky Tower is another sight of New Zealand. It is an observation tower. Its height is 328 meters.
