Сценарий мероприятия:

Новогодняя викторина «We wish you a Merry Christmas»

Класс: 9-Б Дата: 21.12.2020

Цель мероприятия:

• Знакомство с традицией празднования Рождества и Нового Года в Великобритании;

• Формирование социокультурной компетенции и интереса к культуре и традициям иноязычной страны.

Задачи мероприятия:

• Расширить словарный запас учащихся;

• Сформировать и развивать УУД (работа в группах; самоконтроль).

Оснащение урока:

Телевизор, iptv приставка, ppt презентация, раздаточный материал.

Ход мероприятия

- Hello, my dear friends! There are many holidays in our country and English-speaking countries. But the holidays we like most of all are New Year’s Day and Christmas Day. People prepare for these holidays in advance: they buy presents, make fancy dresses, send greeting cards and decorate their houses.

Our competition is devoted to these great holidays!

We have two teams today. They are going to show us, if they know everything connected with Christmas and New Year. I hope you are ready to start.

At first our teams will introduce themselves. Tell us, what the name of your team is. And, I hope, we’ll hear your motto too.

Конкурс 2. “Let’s sing.”

Now we are going to check, if you know Christmas and New Year songs well. The next task is “Let’s sing”. You need to sing as better as you can.

Конкурс 3.  “Retelling the story.”

Both teams get the same stories. You need to retell it inserting word instead of pictures. You have 3 minutes. Which team insert more words that is the winner.

How the angel came up on top of the Christmas tree.

When four of Santa’s got , the trainee did not produce as fast as the regular ones, and Santa began to feel the Pre-Christmas pressure. Then Mrs. told her Mother was coming to visit, which stressed Santa even more.

Imagine that you have to send a Christmas card to your friend. What would you wish him/her? Please, color your Christmas card and write your greetings.

Please congratulate your friends from another team and give them a card.

That'll do for today. You were very active. Well done! Now we shall decide who the winner of our competition is. The Cracker Salute. It will be great fun for Pp to pull Christmas crackers.
