SCENERY: Все дети в колпачках, варежках, шарфах поют песню «Jingle Bells», сзади фоном Зимняя улица со снегопадом.

Рассказчик: Winter…Christmas…New Year…Presents and carols…Snow is falling down. It is warm and snowy. Oh (пугается) Shh! (палец ко рту) It seems Snow Queen is near here! (расскрывает свой фонтик, крутит, убегает)

Появляется СнежнаяКоролева с зеркалом. Фон Ледяное холодное царство

Снежная Королева: (смотря в зеркало) All the people are merry and happy. Christmas is coming. Children are singing and dancing. But I’m so lonely in my palace. Maybe some magic will correct the situation! (разбивает зеркало и зловеще хохочет/ звук битого стекла/ гаснет свет)

SCENE 2

Кай: Winter has come. Oh! Something has pricked me. Here (показывает на глаз) and here (показывает на сердце). But it doesn’t matter.

Бабушка: When it snows like that people say Snow Queen is arriving to look around her kingdom.

Герда: She might be very beautiful. But she is so cold. I am afraid of her.

Кай: You are a silly little girl. Look, I’ll open the door and go out. Such wonderful weather outside (выходит из дома)

Герда: (бежит за Каем, хочет посмотреть его глаз)You’d better stay at home. How is your eye? Кай ударяет ее по руке и убегает.

Бабушка: People say it is a piece of Snow Queen’s mirror. It and makes a person heartless. Maybe Snow Queen has taken Kay.

Герда: But I want Kay to be here. I will go and take Kay from Snow Queen.

Бабушка:Be careful, please. Bye, Gerda, dear. (обнимает Герду)

Герда: Bye, Granny. (гаснет свет)

SCENE 3

Фон королевский дворец. 2 ворона-стражников подходят к спящей Герде.

Рассказчик: Our brave girl is sleeping in front of the palace. She wants to find her brother.(крутит зонт)

Ворон1: Why are you sleeping in the royal park, girl? I guess little girls should sleep in their beds like our princess.

Ворон2: She lives with the prince in the palace on the hill over there. Would you like to meet her?

Gerda: I’m looking for a boy with blue eyes and hair like wheat. His name is Kay. Do you know him?

Ворон2: There is a boy in the palace who looks like that.

Ворон1: He is a prince. He was so handsome and smart that our princess fell in love with him at once. Maybe it’s your Kay. You may go and look for yourself.

Герда: May I? Thank you. Вороны ведут Герду во дворец.

Рассказчик: Raven leads Gerda through the park towards the palace.

SCENE 4

Фон королевский зал с фрейлинами, на троне сидят принц и принцесса, играет классическая музыка. Они пьют чай.

Принц: (обращается к принцессе) How are you, my dear?

Принцесса: Not well, thanks. It’s so boring.

Принц: Wait a moment! Dancers! (хлопает в ладоши)

(Презентация вальс в зале)

Принц: Did you like it?

Принцесса: Yes. (зевает) Входит Герда с воронами. Принц и принцесса не замечают их.

Герда: (подходит сбоку) Excuse me, can I ask you? Kay, do you remember me? I’m Gerda, your sister.

Принц: (оборачиваясь) Who are you, girl? I’m sorry, but I don’t know you.

Принцесса: (капризным голосом) Who brought that little girl into the garden?

Gerda: It is my fault, princess. Your Raven wanted to help me. I’m looking for my brother Kay. Snow Queen has taken him. Nobody can help me. (начинает плакать и поет песню I’m a big girl)

Принц: It’s a pity but I’m not your brother, poor thing. How can we help you?

Герда: Can you show me the way to the kingdom of Snow Queen?

Ворон1 Birds told me about the place where she lives. It’s an ice desert and nobody can stay there very long.

Принц: So we will give you a nice coat with pockets full of gold. And you won’t be cold when you visit Snow Queen. (подает пальто и мешочек с монетами)

Герда: Thank you a lot. Goodbye!

Все: (машут) Goodbye, Gerda.

SCENERY: Фон дремучий лес, горит костер. Разбойники пляшут, дерутся. Играет веселая музыка. Увидев Герду, пляшут вокруг нее.

Разбойник1: Stop!

Разбойник2: Hands up!

Разбойник3: (трогает пальто) Such a pretty coat!

Разбойник2:Let me see your pockets. They are full of gold! (Берет мешочек с золотом, бросает своим товарищам)

Разбойник1:Would you like to have anything?

Маленькая Разбойница: I hate gold! I hate coats! I’ll take this girl to play with. You will tell me stories all day long. If you cry, I’ll kill you with my big knife. (достает нож)

Герда: You may kill me but I can’t stay with you. I’m looking for my brother Kay. Snow Queen has taken him. Can you show me the way to her palace?

Разбойник3: Sh…Snow Queen is a great magician.

Разбойник2: If she gets angry with us, she will bring a snowstorm and we’ll catch a cold. (Все разбойники кашляют)

Маленькая Разбойница: I want to play with you, little girl. What is your name?

Герда: Gerda. Take my coat but let me go. I want Kay to come home.

Маленькая Разбойница: I can’t let him die and I can’t let you go. What shall I do?

Разбойник1: Nobody can fight Snow Queen.

Разбойник2: She is so powerful. But you are so brave that nobody can stop you.

Разбойник3: Go your way. Farewell and good luck!

(Разбойники машут Герде) гаснет свет

SCENERY: Дворец Снежной Королевы. Она сидит на троне, Кай рядом играет в кубики.

Снежная Королева: Would you like some more ice-cream?

Кай: No, thanks. I don’t want any.

Снежная Королева: Would you like to watch the magic mirror? There you will see the secrets of the world.

Кай: What’s the use of them if you can’t be happy.

Снежная Королева: If you are sad, we’ll play an ice ball!

Кай: Boring!

Снежная Королева: (видит Герду) Who let you in?

Герда: Good afternoon, madam! Good afternoon, Kay!

Кай: Who are you, girl?

Герда: I’m Gerda. Your sister! At last, I have found you here, in the palace of Snow Queen. Let’s go home!

Снежная Королева: Kay likes the beauty of my country. Go away, girl!

Герда: Let me kiss him, saying good-bye. (целует его)

Кай: (протирает глаза и радостно обнимает Герду) I miss you and our granny and our garden!. I want to go home with you!

Snow Queen: Wait! You will be a prince! You’ll get everything you want!

Kay: But my only wish is to get home with my sister!
