Narrator: Once upon a time there was a place called Spice Country. In the capital of the country there was the Pepperpot Palace. Queen Salt and he beloved son Prince Pepper lived there. They were very rich. Prince Pepper loved mustard very much and couldn’t live without it. One day his friend, Sarah Sweet, came to the palace to visit him.
Doctor: Take a deep breath, please. Don’t breathe. Breathe out. Okay, how long have you been feeling like this?
The Queen: He's been feeling like this all week.
(входит Сара)
Sarah: Good morning!
The Queen: Good morning Sarah! Our Prince is not well.
Doctor: He is very ill!
Sarah: Oh, why?
The Queen: He can’t eat anything without mustard, and we can’t find any mustard in the shops (падает на стул с веером)
Sarah: No mustard? I don’t believe it! There is a lot of mustard in our Spice Country.
Doctor: It must be MAGIC mustard. Somebody has stolen all the magic mustard seeds.
The Queen: We have told the police, but they can’t find the seeds.
Doctor: I think the Vinegar Witch has done it. But she talks only to sweet young girls.
The Queen: Oh, Sarah, you are a sweet young girl! Will you help us?
Sarah: Of course, I will! Where does the Witch live? How can I get there?
The Queen: We have a magic map that can help you find it.
Doctor: The Vinegar Witch lives with her Cat Midnight in a Castle which is in the mountains. You can get there by train or by bus, and you’ll have to go on foot. First, find the magic road.
Sarah: I’m sure I’ll find it. Good bye everyone!
( выходит из дворца, ожидает такси)
Sarah: Taxi! Taxi!
Taxi Driver: Where are you going?
Sarah: To the airport.
Taxi Driver: It’ll take you 10 minutes to get there.
Sarah: Let’s go fast. I’m in a hurry
(едут в аэропорт, в аэропорту)
Sarah: I’d like a ticket to the Mountains?
Airport assistant/worker: When are you going to fly? Today or tomorrow?
Sarah: Right now!
Airport assistant/worker: Just a minute! I think flight number FG156 is the best for you.
Sarah: When is the flight?
Airport assistant/worker: The plane takes off in 10 minutes.
Sarah: Excellent! How much is the ticket?
Airport assistant/worker: Business or tourist class?
Sarah: Tourist class, please.
Airport assistant/worker: That’s 10 pounds. Here you are.
Sarah: Thank you. Bye.

Narrator: The trip was not long. A few minutes later Sarah was under a big old tree, in the middle of the Wild Wood. She didn’t know where to go.
Sarah (плачет): How can I get out to the Vinegar Witch’s Castle? I can’t see the road!
Narrator: She looked up and down, but couldn’t see anybody. There was just an old tree near her.
Tree: Speak up! I can’t hear you! Don’t they teach you to speak English at school?
Sarah: А talking tree? How interesting. Please, Sir, I’m looking for some magic mustard seeds.
Tree: The Vinegar Witch may have some, but I’m not sure.
Sarah: How can I find her?
Tree: Let me explain. The road to the Castle is to the left of the road leading to the main magic square and this road is to the right of the road leading to the magic airport.
Sarah: This is so hard to remember, could you repeat, please?
Tree: Okay. The road to the Castle is to the left of the road leading to the main magic square and this road is to the right of the road leading to the magic airport.
Sarah: Could you repeat it again?
Tree: Of course not! Young people should train their memory!
Sarah: What an evil tree!
Tree: What?
Sarah: Nothing, Thank you!
Tree: Hurry up.

Narrator: It was a long and difficult way. By the time Sarah saw the castle it was already morning. Sarah opened the door and came in.

Vinegar Witch: Come in! Come in! Hello, my dear! Welcome to my castle. Why have you come?
Sarah: I’m looking for some magic mustard seeds. Some people say you have them.
Vinegar Witch: Perhaps the people who say that are right, but we won't give them to you just like that. You need to solve a few riddles. If you handle it, we'll give you back the mustard. If not, then she will remain with us forever. Are you ready?
Sarah: Yes
Vinegar Witch: Okay, Midnight, start.
(звуки из своей игры)
Cat: What has legs but cannot walk?
Sarah: A chair.
Cat: Right. How many months in the year has 28 days?
Sarah: All months in the year have at least 28 days.
Cat: And the last riddle. From what number can one take half and leave nothing?
Sarah: 8
Vinegar Witch: The magic seeds are in one of these boxes.
Sarah: Which one?
Cat: We are not going to tell you.
Vinegar Witch: You must guess.

Vinegar Witch: Excellent!
Cat: You are lucky!
Sarah: I will give this box to the prince. Thank you! Goodbye!
Vinegar Witch, Cat: Goodbye!
Vinegar Witch: She doesn't know the most important thing. But it’s okay, then she’ll understand what a mistake she has made. Let's go for a walk, Midnight, we still have a lot of evil things to do.

Sarah: Here you are! I’ve found the seeds. Now Prince Pepper will feel better.
Doctor: Well done!
Queen: I’ll go to the kitchen and make you a ham sandwich with magic mustard.
( королева уходит и возвращается с бутербродом)
The Queen Salt and doctor: Here you are! Bon appétit!
Prince: AAAAAA!
The Queen: What has happened?
Prince (плача): The mustard is so hot! I have never eaten such hot mustard. It’s burning inside me!
Sarah: Don’t worry! I have some magic water!
(принц пьет воду)
Prince: Oh, I feel better now! Thank you Sarah, you are my best friend!
The Queen: Thank you, Sarah for finding the magic mustard.
Prince: Why don’t we have a party now?
