Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall
All the King’s horses, all the King’s men
Couldn’t put Humpty, couldn’t put Dumpty (путается в словах)
Humpty-Dumpty…
Couldn’t put Humpty-Dumpty together again

Alice’s sister:

Please, Alice, be attentive!

Alice:

The book is boring. I dislike books without pictures.

Alice’s sister:

There are a lot of good books in the world without pictures.

Alice:

In this world…but in my world all the books are with pictures.

Alice’s sister:

Your world? What nonsense!

Alice:

In my world everything is special!

Alice’s sister:

Really?

Rabbit:

Oh, dear! Oh, dear! I’m late! I’m late!

Alice:

A Rabbit with a watch! That’s the strangest thing I’ve ever seen. Mr. Rabbit! Mr. Rabbit! Please! Stop! Stop! Mr. Rabbit! Wait! Wait!

Rabbit:

No, no, no! No time to say good-bye! I’m late! I’m late! A very important date!

Alice:

Oh, what is happening? I’m falling down…Oh-o-o!

Alice:

It’s interesting to know…” Do cats eat bats? Do bats eat cats?”

Alice:

What a strange place! Let me out! Let me out!

Oh! A key!

What a beautiful garden! But I am too big! A little bottle! … «Drink Me!

Alice:

Oh my! What’s happening?

The key! The key is on the table!

Oh, here is something! … «Eat me!

Rabbit:

Oh, the Duchess, the Duchess! She will punish me. She is so strict. Ah!

Alice:

Mr. Rabbit! Please, wait, please…

It’s a magic fan! Mr. Rabbit! Please, wait, please…

How queer is everything today! Let me think.

I am not the same. And …who am I?

Caterpillar:

Who are you?

Alice:

I… I don’t know.

Caterpillar:

What do you mean by that? Explain yourself.

Alice:

I can’t explain myself, because I’m not myself, you see.

Caterpillar:

I don’t see.

Alice:

Well, you know, TRANSFORMATIONS.

Caterpillar:

I know transformations, and so what? I’ve been constantly changing but I never forget who I am. You, who are you?

Alice:

That’s enough. Everybody is teaching me here! I’m leaving!

Caterpillar:

Come back. I have something important to say. Keep your temper!

Alice:

Is that all?

Caterpillar:

No. So you think you’ve changed, do you?

Alice:

I have, sir. I haven’t kept the same size for 10 minutes together.

Caterpillar:

What size do you want to be?

Alice:

Well, I don’t like changing so often, you know.

Caterpillar:

I don’t know. One side will make you grow taller, and the other side will make you grow shorter.

Alice:

One side of what? The other side of what?

Caterpillar:

Of the mushroom…

Alice:

And now where shall I go? …. So many berries! They look so nice!

Cheshire Cat:

Looking for a mushroom?

Alice:

Who are you?

Cheshire Cat:

Let me introduce myself. A Cheshire Cat, Miss-ss…

Alice:

Alice-ss.

Cheshire Cat:

It’s a pity, not a mouse-ss.

Alice:

Cheshire Puss, would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?

Cheshire Cat:

That depends on where you want to get to.

Alice:

I don’t much care where.

Cheshire Cat:

Then it doesn’t matter which way you go.

Alice:

What sort of people live about here?

Cheshire Cat:

In that direction lives a Hatter. And in that direction lives a March Hare. They are both mad. We are all mad here. I’m mad. You are mad (улыбается).

Alice:

Stop smiling!

Cheshire Cat:

Why?

Alice:

Cats never smile!

Cheshire Cat:

They do, especially those who are going to help the little girl to make the next step.

Alice:

And where is this step?

Cheshire Cat:

Straight there. But before there is a surprise for you.

Clock:

It’s 5 o’clock. Time waits for no man. Please, music!

All:

A very merry unbirthday to us, to us! A very merry unbirthday to us, to us!

March Hare:

A very merry unbirthday to me!

Hatter:

To whom?

March Hare:

To me!

Hatter:

Oh you!

March Hare:

A very merry unbirthday to you!

Hatter:

Who, me?

March Hare:

Yes, you!

Hatter:

Oh, me!

March Hare:

Let's all congratulate us with another cup of tea. A very merry unbirthday to you!

Hatter:

To me!

(sitting at the table, Dormouse falling asleep)

Dormouse

Twinkle, twinkle, little bat

Clock:

I’m going to strike.

Hatter:

Do, please.

Clock:

Boom, boom – coo…

Dormouse(отрывая голову от стола) Twinkle, twinkle, little…

Boom, boom – coo-coo, coo-cooo…

Alice

Good morning!

March Hare and Hatter

Good afternoon, young lady!

Hatter(с отвращением)

You are just in time to have a cup of tea.

March Hare

No room, no room!

Alice

Nonsense, there’s plenty of room here. I'm sorry I interrupted your birthday party...

March Hare:

Birthday? Hahaha! My dear child, this is not a birthday party!

Mad Hatter:

Of course not! He-he-he! This is an unbirthday party!

Alice:

Unbirthday? Why, I'm sorry, but I don't quite understand.

March Hare:

It’s very simple. Now, thirty days have sept- no, when... an unbirthday, if you have a birthday then you... ha-ha... she doesn't know what an unbirthday is!

Mad Hatter:

How silly! Ha ha-ha-ha! Ah-hum... Now statistics prove, prove that you've one birthday.

March Hare:

Imagine, just one birthday every year.

Mad Hatter:

Ahhh, but there are 364 unbirthdays!

March Hare:

Precisely why we're gathered here to cheer!

Alice:

Why, then today is my unbirthday too!

March Hare:

It is?

Mad Hatter:

What a small world this is.

March Hare:

In that case... a very merry unbirthday.

Alice:

To me?

Mad Hatter:

To you!

March Hare:

A very merry unbirthday.

Alice:

For me?

Mad Hatter:

For you! Now blow the candle out, my dear and make your wish come true! Hi-hi-hi!

March Hare & Mad hatter:

A very merry unbirthday to you!

Dormouse: Twinkle, twinkle, little bat, how I wonder what you're at! Up above the world you fly, like a tea-tray in the sky!

Alice:

Oh, that was lovely!

March Hare

Where are you going?

Alice

Somewhere…

Hatter

Somewhere is a good place!

March Hare

It’s just close to nowhere.

Alice

Can I get anywhere if I take this direction?

March Hare:

If you go straight on you will get ahead.

Alice

But I’ve got a head (указывая на голову) Thank you.

Hatter

If you really have a head you must be very clever then.

March Hare

And if you are really very clever try to guess the puzzle.

Hatter

Two short little legs and an egg for the head.

This fellow you have met in the rhymes you have read.

Alice

I know it’s an egg!

Clock: (вскакивают)

Tick-tock says the clock. I’m going to strike. Boom, boom – coo-coo.

Dormouse

Twinkle, twinkle, little …

Together:

Good afternoon, young lady!

March Hare

Have a cup of tea!

Alice

Are you going to have tea again?

Hatter

Why not? It’s five o’clock.

Alice

Five o’clock all the time.

Hatter

Shh, don’t mention the time, I’ve quarreled with him.

Clock: (обиженно)

And what did you want?

March Hare(раздвигая Шляпника и часы в стороны)

Break, break! To make the long story short – now it is always five o’clock.

Clock: (кланяются)

And we are having tea all the time!

Alice

A very strange story.

March Hare

If you like it – clap your hands.

Hatter

We have begun our party!

Dormouse:

Twinkle, twinkle, little bat
How I wonder what you are at?
Up above the world you fly
Like a tea tray in the sky.

Alice

You know, they are all absolutely mad! I want to go home! Immediately…go home!

Rabbit: (обращается к Алисе)

You are still here! (К Шляпнику И Зайцу) You are still there! Go away at once!

Rabbit(убегая за кулису, Алисе)

Follow me!

Twinkle, twinkle, little star»

We're painting the roses red.

Card 3:

Oh, painting the roses red

Because we know

They'll cease to grow |siːs|

In fact, they'll soon be dead.

Card 1:

And yet we go ahead

Alice:

Oh, pardon me. But Mister Three, why must you paint them red?

Card 3:

Huh? Oh! Well, the fact is, Miss, we planted the white roses by mistake and...

Card 2:

The Queen… she likes 'em red. If she saw white instead, she'd raise a fuss. |fʌs| And each of us would quickly lose his head.

Alice:

Goodness!

Card 1:

Since this is the part, we dread

Card 2:

we're painting the roses red.

Alice:

Oh, Dear! Then let me help you.

All:

Painting the roses red. We're painting the roses red.

Card 3:

Don't tell the Queen what you have seen or say that's what we said. But we're painting the roses red. Yes, painting the roses red.

Card 2:

Not pink.

Card 1:

Not green.

Card 2:

Not aquamarine.

All:

We're painting the roses red!

Card 1:

Hush! Silence! The Queen is coming!!!

Here you are at last! Oh, this is my teacup by the way. Thanks for keeping it.

Alice

You are welcome.

Queen:

And don’t forget to add “Your Majesty”!

Alice

Yes, Your Majesty!

Queen:

And don’t forget to make a curtsy.

Alice(приседая)

Yes, Your Majesty!

Queen:

And don’t forget to look straight into my eyes!

Alice

Yes, Your Majesty!

Queen:

And who taught you manners?

Alice

Sometimes my sisters, sometimes my teacher, Mr. Dodo…Dodgeson.

Queen:

Dodgeson? I don’t know him…eh absolutely no. And who are you?

Alice:

My name is Alice.

Queen:

Look up, speak nicely, and don't twiddle your fingers! Curtsey. Always say 'yes, your majesty'!

Alice:

Yes, your majesty!

Queen:

Hm. Now, hm, where are you coming from, and where are you going?

Alice:

Well, um, I'm trying to find my way home...

Queen:

Your way? All ways here are my ways!

Alice:

Well, yes, I know, but I was just thinking...

Queen:

Curtsey while you're thinking, it saves time.

Alice:

Yes, your majesty, but I was only going to ask...

Queen:

I warn you child, if I lose my temper, you’ll lose your head, understand?

Alice:

Oh, pooh. I'm not afraid of you! Why? You're nothing but a pack of cards! And as for you, your majesty, you're not a queen, but just a bad-tempered old tyrant...

Queen:

What!!! Off with her head! Off with her head! Off with her head! Don't let her get away!

Wake up, Alice, dear! What a long sleep you have had!

Alice

Oh, I have had such a curious dream!

Alice’s sister:

It was a curious dream, dear, certainly; but it’s getting late now, run into the house. What about a cup of tea?

Alice:

A cup of tea? Oh, no! Not again!
