MY NATIVE CITY

I was born in Lipetsk. It is my native city. It was founded in1703. The landscape of this part of the country is very beautiful. Lipetsk is situated on the river Voronezh. Lipetsk is a fast-growing city. It's a regional centre with the population of over 600.000 people. Lipetsk is a city of well-developed industry. There are several residential areas in our city. Every district has schools, kindergartens, shops, everyday services. The people of Lipetsk are very fond of their Zoo, the only Zoo in our region. Lipetsk is a cultural centre of our region. There is a Technical University, a lot of schools, technical colleges, some cinemas, drama&puppet theatres. There are a lot of places of interest in Lipetsk. There are: the Museum of Local Lore. Plekhanov Museum. Exhibition Hall, Nizhny Park & others. One of the main streets in Lipetsk is Lenin Street. There are some monuments&fountains there. The main square is Sobornaya Square in Lipetsk. There is a very beautiful church on it. It is the Cathedral of the Nativity of Christ.
