Цели урока:

Социокультурный аспект: знакомство с популярными видами спорта в России и Великобритании;

Развивающий аспект: развитие способности к догадке, развитие произвольного внимания, памяти, способности к классификации, развитие способности высказывать предположения;

Воспитательный аспект: воспитание положительного отношения к спорту;

Учебный аспект: формирование лексических навыков говорения;

Необходимое оборудование и материалы для занятия компьютер, проектор

Ход урока.

Организационный момент. Приветствие.

- Good morning, dear friends! I’m glad to see you. Welcome to English lesson! How are you today?

- Fine, thanks.

- Sit down, please. I’m fine too. If you are ready, let’s begin our lesson.

Фонетическая зарядка. Мотивация. Обозначение темы урока.

- Today we are going to have a very interesting lesson. Уou can see these pictures. Say me please, what is the theme of our lesson? (Ответы учащихся). And I can say “Hobby”? Why not? (Ответы учащихся).

OK, You are right. Let’s do this exercise. Name these sports and games. (слайд №2-4)

Today work at the theme “Sport”. Today we’ll learn new words, speak about sports and find out new information.

Речевая разминка.

- All people realize that sport is useful but prefer watching sport on TV to going in for it themselves.

Now I’d like to ask you some questions about sport and sport activities. (слайд №5) (Индивидуальные ответы учащихся).

Сообщение нового материала. Развитие навыков аудирования, чтения, говорения

1. - Работа с учебником. Упр.1, с.96. The British are a sporting nation/ They are fond of different sports. Look at the sports and say? Which are teams sports? Which are individual sport? (Ответы учащихся).

2. -You have said me about popular sports in Russia and Great Britain? Listen and check if you are right. (соотв. аудиозапись из аудиоприложения к УМК)

3. - What extreme sports do you know? Let's learn about 7 extreme sports (слайды 6-12)

4. - Now let's read the texts about favourite kinds of sport. (5мин). (Учебник, упр.2, с.97) Учащиеся в парах/группах читают тексты (сделать акцент на незнакомых словах). Answer my questions:

• What traits and skills does a sportsman need to do these sports?

• What traits and skills do the sports develop?

• What are downsides of the sports?

Have you ever tried any of this sports? Would you like to try any of them?

5. Open your activity book and complete the diagrams with the words from the box and add some other words that fit to each group. (Activity book, Ex/ 1) and check yourself (слайд 13).

6. Listen to the teenagers talking about sports. What sports and why do they do? (Listening for details, аудиоприложение к УМК)

7. Monologue speech. Ex.3, p.98 Complete a monologue choosing arguments to support your point of view.

Домашнее задание. Подведение итогов урока. Выставление оценок.
