The PBL project “Why are J.R.R.Tolkien's books so important for modern culture?”

Hello! This project has made in the process of teaching the PBL in my institute by Slobodyuk A.V. and Voykin A.A. (me and my groupmate https://multiurok.ru/alexvoykin/). Here we had the EQ "What the impact on culture Tolkien has? While creating the project we (me and my groupmate Voykin A.A.) show the role of the teacher and students in the project, made some searcher and prepared the material for the puppetry. 

The search results were presented on the PowerPoint Presentation Here you can see the search Google Form https://goo.gl/forms/hIFuupXove2OwaBg1  Based on survey data, as well as after the taking project among young people, we found out that Tolkien’s Universe is still a relevant and popular topic. Thousands of people around the world, young and older, are fond of Tolkien’s books. This topic is interesting for current today's youth as it was interesting for us. From the point of English lessons, “The Hobbit” and “The Lord of the Rings” are examples of classic British literature of the 20th century. The language of professor is simple and picturesque, and his books actually can be used in studying language. Living and understandable characters, fascinating plot and amazing world of Middle-Earth – all of these we loved in Tolkien’s books. And we exactly can recommend this creation for the next generations.
