The Statue of Liberty

• The Statue of Liberty is a robed female figure representing Libertas, the Roman goddess. She holds a torch above her head, and in her left arm carries a tabula ansata (a tablet evoking the law)

The Leshan Giant Buddha

• It is carved out of a cliff face.  It is the largest stone Buddha in the world and it is by far the tallest pre-modern statue in the world.
