Tongue-twisters
for Elementary group
Good, better, best,
Never, never rest,
Till your good is better,
And your better best.
Early to bed
And early to rise
Makes a man
Healthy, wealthy, and wise.
Why do you cry, Willy?
Why do you cry?
Why, Willy, why, Willy,
Why, Willy, why?
Peter, Peter, pumpkin-eater,
Had a wife and couldn’t keep her.
He put her in a pumpkin shell
And there he kept her very well.
A sailor went to sea
To see what he could see.
And all that he could see
Was sea, sea, sea.
She sells seashells on the seashore,
The shells that she sells are seashells, I’m sure.
If she sells shells on the seashore,
Then, I’m sure; she sells sea-shore-shells.
Whether the weather is wet
Or whether the weather is hot
Be thankful together
Whatever the weather
Whether we like it or not.
Around the rugged rock
The ragged rascal ran.
The ragged rascal ran
Around the rugged rock.
Don’t trouble trouble until trouble troubles you
It’ll trouble other troubles
And will trouble others too.
