I always have lunch at school. I come home at 2 or 3 o’clock and have a rest. Then I do my homework. We have dinner at 6 o’clock. My mother usually cooks meat or fish and potatoes. I read and watch TV, then at 10 o’clock I go to bed.

9. My favourite toy
My favourite toy is a teddy bear. It is light brown, it has kind eyes and a smiling mouth. My father gave it to me on my fifth birthday. I like my teddy bear because it is very sweet and cuddly (приятный). My soft toy is talented because it can read stories and fairy-tales to me. I like to listen to his stories before going to bed. My bear can sit and sleep with me. When I get upset, it calms me down. My teddy bear is my best friend!
10.Russia is my Motheland
Russia is my native country. I am from Megion /Megion is in western Sibiria . Russia is one of the biggest countries in the world. The population is about 150 million people. My country is situated on two continents: Europe and Asia. Moscow is the capital city.
Russia is a land of long rivers and deep lakes. The Volga is the longest river in Europe. The Baikal is the deepest lake in the world. The national flag of Russia is a tricolour with white, blue and red horizontal stripes. A new national emblem is a two-headed eagle. It is the most ancient symbol of Russia.
11.My working day
I usually get up at 7 o’clock in the morning. I do my morning exercises. Then I make my bed and go to the bathroom(ванная), where I wash my face, hands and ears. At half past seven I have breakfast. My mother usually makes it for me.
I go to school at 8 o’clock. The lessons begin at half past eight. We usually have four lessons and I study(обучаюсь) six days a(в) week. My lessons are over(заканчиваются) at half past twelve.. After that I come home and have a mid-afternoon snack(полдник). At home I often help my mother about the house. I wash the dishes, go shopping and clean my room.
12.Seasons
Winter
There are four seasons in a year: spring, summer, autumn and winter.
It is winter. December, January and February are winter months. It often snows in winter. There is a carpet of snow on the ground. The cold wind often blows in winter. The trees are bare(голые). It is nice in the forest in winter. There are snow-caps on the trees. The days are short and the nights are long. Children play snowballs in the streets. The streets and the fields are white.
Spring
After winter comes spring. March, April and May are spring months. The air is fresh, the sky is blue and cloudless. The sun shines brightly. Sometimes the wind blows, but it is warm. The weather is fine in spring. It is cool or warm. It sometimes rains. In May it is very warm. You can see flowers in the fields.
Summer
After spring comes summer. June, July and August are summer months. The weather is usually fine in summer. But sometimes it is very hot, especially in July. It is sunny in summer. The weather is nice. The days are long and the nights are short. The fields and trees are green. Children run and play in the streets.
Autumn
After summer comes autumn. Autumn is a beautiful season. September, October and November are autumn months. It often rains in October and November. The leaves fall down from the trees and cover the ground. The sky is cloudy and the trees are bare. It is cool in autumn. The weather is rainy and windy. The trees are yellow and red. There are many fruits and vegetables in the gardens.
