Warm up. Travel vocabulary cards.

Brainstorm: Why do people travel?

Now, can you tell me, why people like travelling?

-Travelling is one of ways to learn about different places and countries.

-People may learn about different culture

- People can see different places.

- People like to see a new people.

- The  next  task  is  to  buy  a  ticket. I  have  a  gold  ticket  in  my  hand. If  you  want  to  get  it  you  must  answer  my  questions:

1. Modern  life  is  impossible  without  travelling.

2. People  travel  only  on  business.

3. Travelling  by  plane  is  expensive.

4. Travelling  by  train  is  slower  than  by plane.

5. Medical  tourism  involves  people  who  travel  to  a  different  place  to  receive  treatment  for  a  disease, health  condition.

Now  I’ll  give you  a  suitcase, you  must  gather  it  in  2  minutes. Each  of  you  have  to  write  5  words  concerning  the  theme  “Travelling”  from  the  list  of  words.

Holiday vocabulary matching
