Цель: способствовать развитию коммуникативных и грамматических навыков, отработке лексических единиц и речевых оборотов по теме «Средства массовой информации».
Задачи: расширить лексический запас учащихся по теме «СМИ» (названия средств массовой информации, газеты и газетные заголовки, интервью, эмоции); закрепить навыки употребления прошедшего простого и простого длительного времен; развивать механизм языковой догадки и умение переноса знаний и навыков в новую ситуацию; способствовать воспитанию у учащихся эстетического вкуса, интереса к различным видам средств массовой информации, положительного отношения к иностранному языку.
ХОД УРОКА
1. Оргмомент.
2. Речевая разминка – игра «Комплименты». T: «Tell compliments to each other».
3. Совместная постановка темы и цели урока. T: Look at the pictures at p. 38. How do you think what are we going to speak today about? (Ответы детей). Today we’ll talk about types of media, about your emotions when you hear or read news. The topic of our today’s lesson is “Did you hear about…?” - Where we can find news? (in the Mass Media). - What types of Mass Media do you know? (newspapers, magazines, television, radio, the Internet) Good.
4. Введение новых лексических единиц. (T Cl. T P1,P2)
T: Now it’s time to learn some new words. Look at the screen. Listen to me and repeat all together. Now read them.

Т: Look at ex. 1. There are some headlines and some adjectives here. We can usе them for describing our feelings. As you see, they can be positive and negative. Write them into correct column. Then you we’ll read and translate them.

T: Well, news and media play an important role in our life because they make us experience different feelings and emotions. Let’s read these headlines and translate them into Russian. Pay attention to Present Simple in the headlines! How do these headlines make you feel? Before you start answering, look at the example at ex and the slide.

8. Развитие навыков чтения. Reading for the specific information.
Ex. 2 – T: Look at the dialogue. What do you think interview is about? Let’s listen this interview. Which of the headlines in ex. 1 goes with it? Read again and complete the reporter’s notes. Compare them with a partner.

9. Grammar - Let’s revise the rules of Past Simple and Past Continuous
