Разработка открытого урока по английскому языку в 6 классе по теме: «Spending free time»
Цели урока:
1. Активизировать речемыслительную деятельность.
2. Развивать все виды речевой деятельности.
3. Закрепление лексического материала по теме.
4. Воспитывать межличностные отношения.
Задачи:
Обучающие:
практика речевой деятельности (монологической, диалогической);
активизация изученной лексики по теме;
формирование и развитие коммуникативных умений.
Развивающие:
развивать мышление, высказывать свое мнение на английском языке;
развитие творчества, фантазии, воображения;
Воспитательные:
воспитание уважительного отношения к собеседнику, его взглядам;
воспитание культуры общения;
предметные результаты:
- в говорении:
совершенствование произносительных навыков (отработка лексики по теме «Свободное время»)
формирование умения вести и поддерживать диалог-расспрос;
- в аудировании:
развитие навыка понимания иноязычной речи наслух:
- в письме:
формирование умения правильно писать слова.

Ход урока:
1. Организационный момент.
Good afternoon children. I’m glad to see you. Let us greet our dear guests

2. Речевая зарядка.
What date is it today?
What weekday is it today?
What you can say about the weather? Is it good?
3. Формулировка темы урока.
Today we have not ordinary lesson. The topic of our lesson is unknown.
Now children I want you to guess the theme of our lesson. To do this, look at the screen and make one sentence from these letters. Well, how do you think, what is the topic of our lesson?
You are right. Today we speak about free time and ways of spending free time.
Free time… What is it? Who can say what it is?
How do people usually spend their free time?

Before we continue our lesson let us do some exercises for our tongues. Look at the screen.

Look at page 109 exercise 130 and read activities, translate them.
You know that all activities can be divided into two big large groups. Which are they?
Of course, when the weather is good we spend our free time outdoors and when the weather is bad we stay at home. So two large groups are outdoors and indoors activities.

7. Активизация диалогической и монологической речи.
Now children answer my questions and tell us about your free time. Have you got free time? What do you usually do when you are free? What do you prefer to do? Tell us about your free time. Who wants to start? It is very interesting. You can spend your free time very well. It is great.
8. Знакомство с идиомой «couch potato».
It`s clear to me that you know many activities.
Today we will know what kind of person can be called like “couch potato”.
Open your books at page 111, exercise 133. Dasha, read the task please.
Read and choose the right definition of the phrase “couch potato”.
What a clever students! Do you know yourself well? Let`s do a short quiz and answer the question: Are you a “couch potato”?
