УРОК –ПУТЕШЕСТВИЕ «ЦВЕТЫ – СИМВОЛЫ ГОДА»

Цели: 1)расширить словарный запас учащихся;

2)формировать умения диалогического и монологического говорения;

3)активизировать изученный лексический материал;

4)развивать творческий потенциал учащихся на основе обобщения и систематизации материала; логическое мышление, речевую догадку и внимание;

5) воспитывать чувство доброжелательного отношения к окружающим.


Оборудование: карта «Страны цветов», плакат «Кроссворд», индивидуальные карточки, диалоги.


Тип урока: урок обобщения и систематизации знаний, умений и навыков.


Ход урока.


I.Организационный момент урока

1) Сообщение темы и цели урока

Today we are going to visit many interesting cities. We must do different tasks in each city. But first of all let׳s read this poem:


Flowers are bright,

Flowers are yellow, red and white.

Flowers can be purple, pink and blue,

Flowers can be different colours for me and for you.


II.Основная часть урока

1) Let׳s start our tour. The first city we׳re going to visit is the city of magic words.

  1. Guess the crossword.

  1. It’s a plant that has got long leaves and yellow or white flowers.

  2. This is a large flower. It can grow in the water.

  3. It’s a plant with round red or yellow flowers.

  4. It’s the first flower we can see in spring.

  5. It’s a part of flowers. It can be different colours and forms.

  6. It׳s an autumn flower.


  1. Match the pairs:

  1. Read, translate word combinations and make up sentences with them.

2) It was very interesting in the city of magic words, but now we can visit the city of international conferences.


  1. We׳re discussing the flowers of the year. There are pictures of flowers on my table. Choose one of them and tell everything you remember about it.


  1. Let׳s divide into 2 groups. Every group will ask questions.

3) We are going to visit the city of wonderful songs. Stand up and sing the song.

4) And now we are in the city of interesting dialogues.

  1. You will work in pairs. You have scrambled dialogues. Put the phrases of the dialogue into the logical order.


Caroline: Hello, Nelly! What an interesting book I׳ve just read.

Nelly: What is this book about?

Caroline: It׳s about flowers. Do you know that there is a special flower for each month?

Nelly: No, I don’t know. What is July׳s flower?

Caroline: It is a water lily. I know that your birthday is in March, the flower of this month is daffodil.

Nelly: I like daffodils very much and I like your book. Give me to read it, please.


  1. Listen and check.

  2. Act out the dialogue.


5) I think we are ready to visit the city of grammar, the house of Present Indefinite Passive.

  1. Make up sentences using Pr.Ind.Passive, write on these cards. Don’t forget that we form Passive with the help of “to be’ and V3.

  1. Stamps \ sell \ in a post office.

  2. Many languages \ speak \ in India.

  3. The table \ make \ of wood.

  4. A lot of houses \ build \ every year.

  5. Butter \ make \ of milk.

  6. Oranges \ buy \ in the shops.


6)And now we׳re going to visit the city of beautiful poems. Do you know poems about flowers? ( Children read poems.)
