Урок английского языка в 9 «А» классе по теме

«Гаджеты или современные изобретения в нашей жизни».

Цель урока – развитие иноязычной коммуникативной компетенции учащихся: систематизация изученного материала по теме.

Задачи:

Образовательные: обобщить знания учащихся по теме, совершенствовать навыки устной и диалогической речи учащихся

Развивающие: развивать умение работать в парах и группе; создать условия для развития таких аналитических способностей учащихся, как умение анализировать, классифицировать, сопоставлять, делать выводы, развивать мышление, память, воображение, самостоятельность;

Воспитательные: поддерживать хороший уровень мотивации для изучения английского языка; воспитывать толерантное отношение к людям, высказывающим противоположную точку зрения, а именно уважать мнение одноклассников, повышать общую коммуникативную культуру учащихся в общении в диалоге, воспитывать внимательное отношение к своему здоровью, учитывая достоинства и недостатки современных технологий.

Тип урока: урок обобщения и систематизации знаний.

Формы работы: индивидуальная, фронтальная, парная и групповая.

Оборудование урока: компьютер, карточки с фразами, карточки с заданиями, викторина.

Ход урока:

T: Good Morning boys and girls! Glad to see you. The theme of our lesson today is «Gadgets or new technologies in our life». You know that wonderful inventions are created in science and technologies. They are changing the lifestyle of millions of people all over the world. Modern inventions are used in everyday life and make it easier.

What do you think about the goal of our lesson?

What are we going to speak today about?

( What are gadgets? What are they for? Why does the modern man need them?)

This is what we are going to speak about at our lesson.

But first of all let us remember the names of modern gadgets that have changed our life. Look at the picture of the presentation. What modern gadgets do people use? What are they need them for? What are your favourite gadgets?

Ps: E-book, games console, smart watch, computer, digital camera etc.

T: We can't imagine our life without computer and internet. Use as many words and phrases as you can and make up your own sentences.

I see that the most popular gadget is a personal computer.

It goes without saying that sometimes we have a lot of problems with our computers.

Use the phrases at the cards and make up short dialogues about these problems.

T: I think your dialogues are very useful to cope with all the problems of computers.

It is clear that the Internet is hugely popular too, but has it really improved our lives?

Say about positive and negative influence of it on teenagers’ life. Try to answer the question: what do you use it for?

There are many advantages and disadvantages as you see but it is up to us to choose.

I’d like you to express your own opinion in your projects. We are divided into two groups: boys and girls.

T: Now, let’s listen to different opinions about mobile phones and compare the answers with

the speakers. ( учащиеся слушают короткие тексты и выполняют задание).

Dear students if you want to be an up-to-date person you have to keep up with all the latest gadgets and if you want to learn about new technology or if you would like to know about something new, do the crossword at home.
