New York is one of the biggest cities in the USA, it’s the city of contrasts, because you can see ancient churches of 18 th century and modern sky-scrapers. People of different races and nationalities live here.

Washington is also visited by tourists, here you can see the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington Monument, the White House and the Capitol. In 1791 G.Washington chose it as a capital. But there is no sky-scrapers here, and no buildings higher than the Capitol.

New Zealand is the state in the southwest part of the Pacific Ocean. The population is 3,8 million people. The official language is English, Maori. The country is divided into 92 counties. The capital of the country is Wellington. The head of the state is the queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

Australia was discovered by Captain cook in 1770.It is an unusual country, New Year is in the middle of summer, summer months are never cold, hot winds blow from the North. Native trees look strange and never lose their leaves.
Canada
Canada is a great country. The national emblem of Canada is the maple leaf. Eskimos and Indians were the first to settle in Canada, they came from Asia.
