Тема мероприятия: страноведение (Великобритания)

Участники: ученики 6-х классов

Цели и задачи:

а) практическая: систематизировать и обобщить знания учащихся по теме «Великобритания»;

б) образовательная: формировать у учащихся интерес к культуре народа страны изучаемого языка, расширить их кругозор;

в) воспитательная: создавать положительную мотивацию к дальнейшему изучению языка;

г) развивающая: развивать память, воображение, логическое мышление, внимание.

Оборудование: символы и флаги страны Соединенного королевства, компьютер, мультимедийный проектор, интерактивная доска, магнитофон, карточки для участников с буквами A, B, C.

Ход мероприятия:

Dear friends, the topic of our quiz today is England. Do you know a lot about England? Today we will choose a pupil who knows England better than others. Some of my students will help me. They will be juries during today’s competition.

The quiz consists of four rounds. After each round three pupils will leave the game. In the final round we will have three pupils and will choose the best.
