     В связи с тем, что 2018 год был учреждён Президентом Российской Федерации  как год  добровольца и волонтёра, особо актуальным является подбор материалов для проведения бесед и ознакомления учащихся с данным направлением деятельности людей. Данная презентация может быть использована при проведении  декады, посвящённой волонтёрству, классных часов  по тематике духовно-нравственного воспитания, на уроках английского языка и внеклассной деятельности по английскому языку (факультативе) в 9-11 классах. В презентации освещены основные направления деятельности волонтёрского движения, а также краткий экскурс  в историю его возникновения. Слайды снабжены красочными иллюстративными фотографиями. Volunteering is a free of charge, conscious and unforced activity for the benefit of others. Any person who works for it is called a volunteer.

Who can be a volunteer?   Any adult skillful and responsible person, who can devote his or her free time and skills to benefit a society. Every person can be a volunteer in any field of social life if it is a necessity for it.

The second branch is sport volunteering: during Olympic Games and World-Wide Championships. The main volunteer’s skill is knowledge of foreign languages.

The first modern volunteering organizations appeared in Europe after the World War II. But the history of this social movement took place in 1859.

According to the surveys, the countries-leaders involved in volunteering are Norway (57% of population), Luxemburg (55% of population) and Kamerun (53% of population).
