Purpose and objective

The aim of this report is to describe the river Vilyui quality status.

From August 27, laboratory control is carried out in the Vilyui group of uluses 2 times a day.

iron ions, copper ions. A polluted stream of water more than 200 km long moved down the Vilyuy River.

From August 29 to September 1, an Interdepartmental Group works in the Vilyui group of districts. Meetings with the population are also held in my Verkhnevilyuysky district.

In those days, people were categorical about taking water from the Vilyui River .

I started with a simple experiment-I insisted water in a jar for 7 days. There were no foreign smells. If there were iron impurities in the water, there would be a smell of metal, which is already good, so there is no excess of iron.

Then I used the method of boiling water. A yellow plaque formed on the walls of the vessel, which indicates the presence of iron after all.

After that, I started the 3rd method-I added potassium margonate to the water. This method shows how polluted the water is with organic matter. So after adding this potassium margonate to the water, I got orange-yellow water, which indicates the presence of organic matter in the water.

If the water remained pink, it means that the water is clean. The brighter the yellow, the worse. So there is a lot of organic waste, dead organisms in the water. Which is also bad.

Conclusion

Based on these experiments, I came to the conclusion that the water in the Vilyu River is not clean. There is a little iron in it, and a lot of organic matter.

It is necessary to purify the water before use. I hope that the river will self-purify by the near future.

In the future, I plan to study the water of the Vilyu River, we need to find the cause of organic matter in the river. This means that, after all, the consequences of the break of the dams were not in vain for our river.
