"Welcome to our English Lovers` Club "
Тема: «Добро пожаловать в клуб любителей английского языка»
Цели и задачи:
Практическая (обучающая)
Научить составлять монологическое высказывание.
Повторить лингвострановедческий материал.
Формировать навыки и умения иноязычного общения.
Показать уровень владения иностранным языком
Развивающая
Научить анализировать, делать выводы, обобщения.
Способствовать формированию действенного интереса к предмету и учению в целом.
Развивать мышление, память, воображение, внимание, речь.
Раскрыть творческие способности.
Образовательная
Расширить кругозор студентов.
Осуществить межкультурную коммуникацию.
Обобщить изученный материал по теме “Лондон”;
Приобщить студентов к культуре Великобритании;
Воспитывающая
Формировать взгляды и убеждения, общественную активность, нравственность, эстетическую культуру.

2. Аудиоматериал : песни гр. «Битлз»
3. Картинки со страноведческим материалом
4. Костюмы для инсценировки баллады
5. Раздаточный материал: таблицы и карточки с пословицами и скороговорками
Организационный момент
Today we are going to play and speak about the sights of London, and to show our dear guests our love to English.
Students, do you know the expression “When a man is tired of London, he is tired of life” What does it mean? Good.
Now let` s divide into two teams and give names to your teams. (Учащиеся делятся на две команды и придумывают им названия)

Task 1.
Students, here is the tongue twister. Your task is to read it fluently. So, what team will manage the task better?
Betty bought some butter,
but the butter Betty bought was bitter,
so Betty bought some better butter,
and the better butter Betty bought

Let` s talk about proverbs
Students you should puzzle these proverbs and translate them :
A bird may be known by its song. Птицу можно узнать по тому, как она поет
A blind man would be glad to see. Слепой был бы рад видеть.
After rain comes fair weather. После ненастья наступает хорошая погода.
All that glitters is not gold. Не всё то золото, что блестит.
Task 3. Look at the table. There are several names in it. Match the names of places, situated in London. (раздаточный материал - таблица, в которую внесены названия достопримечательностей Лондона и России. Студенты должны выбрать и назвать те, что относятся к Лондону. Дается 1 минута на подготовку, затем команды зачитывают свои ответы.)

Task 4. Let `s have a musical pause
Students, speaking about the Britain, we can` t mention about such the most famous group as “the Beatles”. What do you know about them?
Let` s sing one of their songs “Yesterday”. Fill the missing words into the text of the song
Студенты выполняют задание, а затем поют песню группы The Beatles “Yesterday”

А теперь, дорогие гости , мы хотели бы представить вашему вниманию инсценировку баллады о королевском бутерброде, написанную знаменитым британским писателем Александром Аланом Милном

The King asked The Queen, and The Queen asked The Dairymaid: "Could we have some butter for The Royal slice of bread?" The Queen asked the Dairymaid, The Dairymaid Said, "Certainly, I'll go and tell the cow Now Before she goes to bed."
The Dairymaid She curtsied, And went and told The Alderney: "Don't forget the butter for The Royal slice of bread." The Alderney Said sleepily: "You'd better tell His Majesty That many people nowadays Like marmalade Instead."
The Dairymaid Said, "Fancy!" And went to Her Majesty. She curtsied to the Queen, and She turned a little red: "Excuse me, Your Majesty, For taking of The liberty, But marmalade is tasty, if It's very Thickly Spread."
The Queen said "Oh!: And went to His Majesty: "Talking of the butter for The royal slice of bread, Many people Think that Marmalade Is nicer. Would you like to try a little Marmalade Instead?"

The King said, "Bother!" And then he said, "Oh, deary me!" The King sobbed, "Oh, deary me!" And went back to bed. "Nobody," He whimpered, "Could call me A fussy man; I only want A little bit Of butter for My bread!"
The Queen said, "There, there!" And went to The Dairymaid. The Dairymaid Said, "There, there!" And went to the shed. The cow said, "There, there! I didn't really Mean it; Here's milk for his porringer, And butter for his bread."
The Queen took The butter And brought it to His Majesty; The King said, "Butter, eh?" And bounced out of bed. "Nobody," he said, As he kissed her Tenderly, "Nobody," he said, As he slid down the banisters, "Nobody, My darling, Could call me A fussy man - BUT I do like a little bit of butter to my bread!"
