Тестирование, являясь важной частью контроля знаний, создает условия для получения, в минимально короткий срок, полного объективного представления о сформированности навыков у максимального количества обучающихся. Данный сборник состоит из 67 тестовых заданий по основным разделам программы, 32 текстов с лексико-грамматическими заданиями и 30 вопросов конкурса эрудитов для учащихся 7 классов. С точки зрения дидактики тексты пособия познавательны и доступны для понимания и способствуют развитию интереса у учащихся к чтению. Учитель имеет возможность выбрать текст, исходя из его простоты или сложности, и соответствия изучаемой темы по учебному пособию “Spotlight”.
Материалы пособия могут быть использованы молодыми и малоопытными учителями в практике преподавания английского языка при организации тестового контроля. Пособие может быть также полезно для учащихся, проявляющих глубокий интерес к изучению английского языка, работа над пособием может стать мощным средством мотивации получения качественного образования.

ВВЕДЕНИЕ
В последнее время тестирование как форма контроля знаний, умений и навыков по английскому языку все больше и больше привлекает внимание не только психологов и методистов, которые занимаются разработкой теоретических вопросов этой проблемы, но и учителей - практиков, которые всё чаще начали использовать различные тестовые задания.
Тестирование, являясь важной частью контроля знаний, создает условия для получения, в минимально короткий срок, полного объективного представления о сформированности навыков у максимального количества обучающихся. Суть проверки результатов обучения состоит в выявлении уровня освоения знаний учащимися. Тесты позволяют определить степень усвоения материала по грамматике в объеме школьной программы и устранить выявленные пробелы. Если оценка по тестированию у ученика невысокая, значит нужно вернуться к этой теме снова. Тестовая проверка способствует развитию более ответственного подхода учащихся к подготовке к уроку, а письменные тесты дают больше уверенности тем учащимся, которые, по каким-либо причинам, затрудняются отвечать в устной форме.
Данный сборник состоит из 67 тестовых заданий по основным разделам программы, 32 текстов с лексико-грамматическими заданиями и 30 вопросов конкурса эрудитов для учащихся 7 классов. С точки зрения дидактики, тексты пособия познавательны и доступны для учащихся и способствуют развитию интереса к чтению. Учитель имеет возможность выбрать текст, исходя из его простоты или сложности, и его соответствия изучаемой теме по учебному пособию УМК “Spotlight”.
Предлагаемый сборник тестовых заданий “Your guide in English”предназначен для преподавателей английского языка, особенно для молодых и малоопытных коллег, не имеющих достаточного опыта работы, поскольку цель автора – помощь практикующему учителю в таком нелегком деле как формирование и развитие грамматических и лексических навыков. Грамматическая десятиминутка, посвященная тестированию по определенной теме на уроке, поможет учителю активизировать лексико-грамматический материал, изученный на уроках. Тестовый контроль можно проводить как с учащимися всего класса, так и индивидуально, выбирая легкие или более сложные задания, подходя к этому вопросу дифференцированно.
Материалы пособия могут быть использованы учителями в практике преподавания иностранного языка или при организации тестового контроля, а также учащимися, проявляющими глубокий интерес к изучению английского языка, работа над пособием может стать мощным средством мотивации получения качественного образования.

cities in Great Britain- Oxford, of course is the other. Its streets are packed with
students going about their business on bicycles.
The story of the university began in 1209 when students and scholars arrived
