You know when we want to point at the place where an object or a subject is situated, we use the turn There is/ there are. You should use there is in singular, when you speak about one thing, and there are in plural, when you speak about many things. - We use numbers, when count things. - There’s one computer. - There are seven floors in the flat. - When we’re not counting, we use a (for one thing), some and a lot of. – There’s a teacher. –There are some posters.
