Тема: Здоровый образ жизни и забота о здоровье: сбалансированное питание. Спорт. Healthy Lifestyle and Care about Health: Balanced Diet.Sport.
Цель: развивать навыки устной и письменной речи на английском языке, систематизировать знания по теме «Здоровый образ жизни и забота о здоровье: сбалансированное питание. Спорт.»; тренировать и расширять словарный запас, совершенствовать умения и навыки диалогической, монологической речи, активизировать умственную деятельность студентов с применением здоровьесберегающей и интегрированной технологий обучения, формировать умения выделять для себя главное, сравнивать, анализировать, выражать своё мнение; прививать обучающимся любовь к спорту, понимание важности здорового образа жизни; воспитывать отрицательное отношение к вредным для здоровья привычкам, развивать память, аналитическое мышление, формировать у обучающихся понимание значимости здоровья человека через средства английского языка, желание заниматься спортом, воспитывать ответственное отношение к своему здоровью, осознание, что следует /не следует делать, чтобы быть здоровым, развитие стремления учащихся расширить свои знания о спорте и здоровом образе жизни.
Норма времени: 2 ак. часа.
Оснащение рабочего места: раздаточный материал (инструкционные карты, словари), комплект инструкционно -технологических карт, посадочные места по количеству обучающихся; рабочее место преподавателя.
Умения и навыки, которыми должны овладеть обучающиеся: Л3, Л5, М2, М4, П2, П5
Обучающийся должен уметь:
- пользоваться словарями; переводить (со словарем) иностранные тексты;
- самостоятельно совершенствовать устную и письменную речь; пополнять словарный запас, общаться (устно и письменно) на иностранном языке.

T: Glad to meet you, dear students, guests and teachers! We are very happy to see you at our lesson. Today we`ll devote our lesson to reading, writing, speaking about WHAT??? Have a look at these pictures and guess WHAT ARE WE GOING TO SPEAK ABOUT? (1 слайд)
T: Yes, of course, you are right. We are going to speak about health, health problems and healthy way of life. (2 слайд)
I would like to pay your attention that health is not something that comes to you by accident. Our health depends on many things: the food we eat, our good or bad habits, our physical activity.
One of the consequences of bad habits is life expectancy. What is the life expectancy in our country now and what was it many years ago?
I agree with you that before people’s life expectancy was about 70 or 80 years but now it is shorter about 60-70 years. Why? Give the reasons.

T: Now we are going to listen to the text “Rainbow of food”, read it, translate and do some exercises «Health and food» (10 form p. 102-103) Rainbow of food. Answer the questions, find the answers in the text (слайд 6, 7).

Look at the cluster. Fill it in. What words and phrases do you remember when you see and hear the phrase “healthy lifestyle”? Use the diagramme for performing the task.
Books, newspapers, radio and TV give all kind of information about food and health. Read the sentences and decide which information is a myth and which is a fact. Don’t forget to use – I think, I believe, I suppose, to my mind. (Слайд 12)

Physical activity is very important for a healthy lifestyle, and it's difficult to be fit if you don't do any. However, it's always better to do some exercise than none at all.
You don't have to give up all your favourite food, but you'll have to eat less bread, sugar and fat.
Take a smaller plate and put less food on it.
But don't skip meals. It won't do you any good.
Don't eat less fruit and vegetables. They are always good for you.
Concentrate on your food. Don't read or watch TV when you eat.
Have healthy snacks. Forget about high-fat, high-calorie snacks: cookies, potato chips and soda. Make your own sandwiches with meat and vegetables.
Drink water or juice instead of Coke and lemonade.
Have an apple instead of a hot dog.
Drink a lot of water. Your body needs a lot of water. Drink at least two litres of water every day. Tea and coffee don't count!
Don't eat after 7 p.m. Have your last meal at least two hours before you go to bed.
Everything you do - smiling, talking, reading - burns calories. But if you want to be fit, you'll have to do more. Do some exercise in the morning or in the afternoon every day: ride a bicycle, go swimming or jogging, wash the floors in your home or walk the dog. Everything counts!
