A HAPPY CHANCE GAME ("СЧАСТЛИВЫЙ СЛУЧАЙ")
She is a doctor.
Is she a doctor?
She is not a doctor.
Оборудование: объявление об игре (кто, где, когда участвует), плакаты с названием каждого гейма: "Go on", "Tricks from the Box", "You Ask Me, I Ask You", три списка вопросов (см.
Teacher (T): Good afternoon, children! Today we are going to play "A Lucky Chance Game". Three teams will take part in it and there'll be three games. Game I is called "Go on!" The task is to answer the questions at high speed. If you don't know or don't remember the answer, you should say "Go on!", as your time is limited.
Team captains, come here to determine the order your team will be asking. Our referee(s) is/are ... . She/he (they) will count the number of the right answers. Every right answer gives one point to your team.
Приложение I).
T: Game II is called "Tricks from the box". I've got a box full of cards with English proverbs. Team captains, come here to choose one card. The task is to give Russian equivalents of the English proverbs. If you give a word-for-word translation, you'll get one point. If you give a Russian equivalent of an English proverb, you'll get two points. Besides, there is a "Lucky chance" card. A "Lucky chance" card will give your team an extra 5 points added to your score.
Т: Game III is called "You Ask Me, I Ask You". Be ready to ask your own questions to Team II, Team II will ask questions to Team III, Team III will ask questions to Team I.
