Цель мероприятия: обобщить знания по теме: «английский алфавит», стимулировать интерес и поддерживать высокую мотивацию к изучению иностранного языка.

Задачи:

Образовательная: способствовать развитию навыков говорения, письма, актуализировать знания учащихся по темам «алфавит», «цвета»

Развивающая: создать условия для развития памяти, внимания, воображения; содействовать формированию самостоятельной познавательной деятельности; способствовать развитию  логического мышления, языковой догадки;

Воспитательная: способствовать развитию культуры взаимоотношений при работе в группах, формировать умение взаимодействовать в коллективе;

Оснащение: ноутбук, проектор, аудиозапись «Jingle bells», видеозаписи «English ABC», «dancing Christmas tree», презентация, наглядный и раздаточный материал

Ход мероприятия

1. Организационный момент

Good afternoon pupils and guests! I’m glad to see you at our Alphabet festival.

You worked hard at our lessons and you learnt the alphabet.

2.Постановка целей и задач

What we will do today?

( Listen? Read? Sing song? Play? Draw? Write? Dance?)

Today we are going to revise and check how well do you know the alphabet. You divide into teams. You will get 1 point to 1 correct answer. Please, tell me the name of your team.

3. Введение в иноязычную атмосферу

What season is it now? What can we do in winter?

Let’s play snowballs and answer the questions.

What is your name? Where are you from?

How old are you? How are you?

Now let’s play with another team. Throw a snowball and ask the questions.

Let’s revise alphabet. Watch the video and sing.

I give you the cards with alphabet. Put the cards in the correct order.

1 pupil from each team will go to the blackboard and write the letters. But when you step on the letter you should name the word with this letter in the beginning.

What holiday is coming soon? I have a tree. Please, help me to decorate a tree. I’ll give you the balls and your task is to name the colour and then hang on the tree.

Balloons alphabet

Go to the blackboard. I have balloons with English letters for you. Stand in the correct order. Name the letter.

Подведение итогов

Do you like to… listen? Dance? Play? Sing? Put the smile to something, that you like most of all.

Let’s count how many points do you get. Team___ got _points. Team__got__points.

So team__won. But you all worked hard, all of you know the alphabet very well. And everyone deserved medals “winner” for your work.
