План – конспект урока английского языка по теме «Press in Britain» (Пресса в Британии).
Тип урока: комбинированный (повторение пройденного материала и усвоения новых знаний)
Цель: расширение кругозора учащихся, развитие коммуникативных и речевых способностей, совершенствование навыков чтения и говорения
Задачи урока:
Учебный аспект:
развитие и совершенствование умений и навыков говорения, понимания на слух, чтения и письма;
отработка изученной ранее лексики;
развитие умения отвечать на вопросы и говорить;
развитие навыка чтения с полным пониманием и умения обсуждать прочитанное, выполнять задания по тесту.
Познавательный аспект:
знакомство с новыми лексическими единицами;
знакомство с прессой Великобритании.
Развивающий аспект:
развитие внимания, способностей выражать свое мнение;
развитие навыков самостоятельной и работы в составе группы;
развитие логики высказывания, умения систематизировать свои знания;
развитие способности к обобщению и рефлексии.
Воспитательный аспект:
воспитание у учащихся культуры вежливого общения;
воспитание культуры чтения книг и печатной прессы.
Оборудование: ПК, мультимедийный проектор, презентация Power Point, карточки для групповой и индивидуальной работы, раздаточный материал для рефлексии, УМК О.В. Афанасьева, И.В. Михеева, К.М. Баранова.
Ход урока:
I.Начало урока: Приветствие. Установка к уроку.
Teacher: Hello, everybody. I’ m happy to see you and our guests today at the lesson.
It’s no wonder that the 21st century is regarded as information age. The mass media we have spoken at the last lesson actually rule the world and play a very important role in our lives. They inform us what is going on in the world and give us wonderful possibilities for education and entertainment. But how do you understand the word “mass media”?
T: What does mass media include?
P1: Mass media includes television, newspapers, tabloids, the Internet, radio.
T:What is the most popular of them nowadays in your opinion?
P3:I reckon that the most popular mass media is television, because many people watch it every day.
P 4: I think the Internet, because you can find any information there
T: What about reading newspapers? Do you often read newspapers?
P4:No, I don’t. But my grandparents read newspapers every day.
T: What about your parents?
T:Do they read local newspapers in your family? What are they?
P6: Yes, they do. I don’t know.
T: Have you ever read a newspaper in English?
P8: No, I haven’t
T: What English newspapers do you know?
P9: Maybe, the Times.

T:Today we are going to read about the press in Britain. Open your books. Exercise 5, page 70. Read the text and complete it with the following.
