Методические рекомендации для преподавателей

Внеклассное мероприятие «British cuisine» (онлайн-квест) проводится для студентов 1 курса специальностей 43.02.15 Поварское и кондитерское дело, 43.02.10 Туризм, 54.02.01 Дизайн (по отраслям), 54.02.08 Техника и искусство фотографии.

Веб-квест (webquest) – проблемное задание с элементами ролевой игры, для выполнения которого используются информационные ресурсы Интернета. Игра-квест представляет собой ряд заданий, которые последовательно выполняются участниками. Смысл игры: найти все задания, выполнить их и открыть дверь с помощью кода (последовательный ввод правильных ответов на все задания).

Цель Квеста: создание условий для формирования языковой и
социокультурной компетенции, самореализации студентов и школьников, повышения их социальной и творческой активности средствами английского языка, а также повышение интереса к изучению иностранных языков, совершенствование форм и методов внеаудиторной работы через вовлечение обучающихся в занимательное интерактивное действие, повышение интереса к изучению иностранных языков.

Задачи Квеста:

- создание условий для раскрытия творческого потенциала участников;
- создание условий для самореализации обучающихся;
- стимулирование интереса обучающихся к изучению иностранных языков;
- внедрение в учебный процесс цифровых образовательных ресурсов (ЦОР);
- повышение мотивации обучающихся за счёт применения игровых технологий.

Участники Конкурса: обучающиеся 1 курса.

Условия проведения Конкурса:

- Участники должны иметь в распоряжении компьютер / ноутбук с доступом к сети Интернет.

2. Прохождение квеста возможно со смартфона. В данном случае целесообразнее развернуть устройство горизонтально. Удобнее проходить Квест на ПК.

3. Количество участников Квеста неограничено.

Сроки проведения

Квест проводится с 31.01.2023 г. по 23.02.2023 г.

Задание 3

Read and translate the recipe. Name the dish.

Ingredients

1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, cut into 8 pieces

1/2 cup (packed) golden brown sugar

1/4 cup golden syrup*

2 1/3 cups quick-cooking oats (not instant or old-fashioned)

Pinch of salt

Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350°F. Butter 8 x 8 x 2-inch metal baking pan. Combine first 3 ingredients in heavy medium saucepan. Stir constantly over medium-low heat until butter melts, sugar dissolves, and mixture is smooth. Remove from heat. Add oats and salt; stir until coated. Transfer mixture to prepared pan and spread out in even layer.

Step 2

Bake until top is golden (edges will be darker), about 25 minutes. Cool in pan on rack 5 minutes. Cut into 4 squares; cut each into 4 triangles (mixture will still be soft). Cool completely in pan before serving.
