CLOTHES

We wear clothes every day. The choice of clothes depends on the climate, season, weather and the occasion.

In summer or in hot countries people wear light summer clothes. Girls and women put on dresses, blouses and skirts or T-shirts and shorts. Boys and men also wear shorts, jeans or trousers, shirts and T-shirts. Summer footwear is sandals, shoes, sneakers, trainers. To protect their heads from the sun people wear hats and caps, kerchiefs and bandanas.

When the weather gets cool or cold – in the evening or in autumn and spring, people put on jackets, sweaters, sweat-shirts, coats. They wear gloves and scarves, warm pants, socks and boots. In the rain people go out with umbrellas and wear rain-coats and rubber boots.

In winter we need warm winter jackets and fur-coats, fur hats, woolen mittens or gloves, scarves and shawls, warm boots or felt-boots.

In their daily life people prefer comfortable casual clothes. Going out to a fancy party, women put on gorgeous evening dresses, high-heeled shoes and jewelry and men are dressed in suits or tuxes with ties or bow-ties.

For doing sports you will choose a tracksuit and trainers, a T-shirt and shorts and sneakers. At the beach we wear swimsuits or swimming trunks.

At home some wear dressing-gowns and slippers .

We go to sleep in nightgowns and pajamas or underwear.
