Генеалогия семьи. Грамматика: Present Simple

I. Начало занятия

1.1 Приветствие и организационный момент.

I’m glad to see you. Be ready for the lesson. Put all unnecessary things away. Stand up, please. Stand still and straight. Good afternoon, students. Sit down, please. I hope you all had good weekends and a good rest so now I want you to gear up for hard work. Now let’s check up your presence.

• Who’s on duty today?

• What date is it today?

• Who’s absent? – Do you know why?

• Is the group ready for the lesson?

1.2 Объявление темы и цели занятия.

Today we are going to speak about your families. For this we’ll learn new words, do communicative tasks and revise the Present Simple Tense. So, I want you to take an active part during a lesson.

1.3 Фонетическая разминка

Let’s recollect the lexical material of the previous lesson. Translate into English, please: иметь много общего, дополнять друг друга, утешать, мелочиться…

1.4 Введение в иноязычную атмосферу

Let’s play a little. Name as many words from the topic “Family” as you can.

2.1 Проверка домашнего задания

It’s time to check our home task. Who wants to be the first to introduce your friend Ex. 13 p. 9

Let’s check ex. 7 HO1 Tell me about the Possessive Case of Nouns.

2.2 Развитие диалогической речи

We’ll work in pairs now. Make up dialogues using the following phrases. Ex. 3 p. 13

2.3 Введение новой лексики занятия

Now let’s study new words and expressions. Ex.7 p. 18. Repeat them after me. Now copy them out into your copy-books.

2.4 Активизация и закрепление новой лексики

Ex. 17 p. 23. Match the words on the left with their meanings on the right.

Ex.13 p.21 Complete the sentences with the appropriate words and phrases from the box.

2.5 Работа с текстом

We have gradually come down the text. Ex. 8 p. 19. Read and translate it by chain, sentence after sentence.

Ex. 9 p. 20. Are these statements true or false? Correct the false ones.

Ex. 10 p. 20. Listen to the three texts and find contradictions in the text in Ex.8

2.6 Объяснение грамматики – Present Simple Tense

It’s time to deal with grammar. Open your books on page 13, read the commentary and make some notes.

Now let’s do Ex.6 p. 18 in a written form. Fill in the gaps with the verbs from the box using the Present Simple. Who wants to go to the blackboard?

3.1 Подведение итогов

Let’s do the summary of the lesson. So,

• What is family in your understanding?

• What do you especially like about your family?

3.2 Объявление домашнего задания

Your home task for the next lesson is to learn the words by heart (Ex.7 p.18); to write the rules of usage of Present Simple Tense on pp.13-15 and to do ex. 14 p. 21in written form.
