Тема урока «The World of Hobbies»

Класс: 6

Учебник: Английский с удовольствием /«Enjoy English» для 5-6 классов общеобразовательных учреждений

Программа: авторская программа М.З. Биболетовой, Н.Н. Трубаневой «Программа курса английского языка к УМК Английский с удовольствием /«Enjoy English» для 2-11 классов общеобразовательных учреждений. – Обнинск: Титул,2010 г.

Цель урока: закрепление лексико-грамматического материала по теме«The World of Hobbies».

Задачи:

1.Повторить активную лексику по данной теме; практиковать лексико –грамматические навыки и речевые умения по данной теме;

2.Развивать внимание, память, логическое мышление, навыки работы в группе;

3.Способствовать развитию навыков культуры общения.

Оборудование: мультимедийное сопровождение к уроку; подборка фотографий; карточки со словами TRUE\ FALSE, алгоритм работы по методике «1-2 все», карточки с текстами.

Ход урока

1. Организационный момент

Teacher: Good afternoon, boys. Good afternoon, girls. I am glad to see you again. Let’s start our English lesson. The topic of our lesson is “The world of hobbies”. Today we are talking about our free time and about our hobbies. And I’d like to know what hobbies you have and what you like doing in your free time. But what is it “a hobby”? Please, look at the screen and let’s find the answer to this question (СЛАЙД 1-2).

1. Фонетическая зарядка

Teacher: First let’s practice the English sounds and words on the topic “The world of hobbies”. What sounds can we hear more ooften? What do these words mean? Make up your own sentences using these English words.

1. Речевая разминка

Teacher: Let’s play an interesting game. It is called “What is missing?” You can see some pictures on the blackboard. How many pictures can you see?

Pupil: We can see 6 pictures.

Teacher: What can you see in these pictures?

Pupil 1: I can see reading

Pupil 2: I can see watching TV\ dancing\playing football\ playing computer games\ gardening

Teacher: Try to remember as many words as you can. Close your eyes. Open your eyes. What is missing?

Pupil: dancing

Teacher: You are right. It is “dancing” .Do you like dancing?\playing football\gardening\....?

1. Активизация лексических навыков по теме “The world of Hobbies”.

Teacher: Different people have different hobbies. But what hobbies do they usually have? I am sure you know the names of them. Try to remember as many hobbies as you can. The world of hobbies is very different. I want you to go to the blackboard and write down their names. Who will be the first? second?...

1. Физкультминутка

Teacher: I want you to be attentive and active now. I want to guess what hobby you and your relatives have. If my sentence is true you’ll l show me this card (TRUE) and if my sentence is false you’ll show me this card (FALSE). (приложение № 2)

Teacher: Make up your own dialogues in pairs.

Example: Do you like reading?

I like reading, too\I don’t like reading, too.

9. Развитие навыков чтения “The world of Hobbies”.

Teacher: And now we are going to work in two groups. Pay attention to these rules. First I want you to read the stories about different hobbies. Then you read them in pairs, then in groups. After that one of you tell us about this hobby. Answer the following questions What hobby is it? Do you like it? (приложение № 4)

1. People like to watch different TV programmes. 2. This hobby is interesting. 3. They like to watch political programmes, news, films, music programmes, sport programmes, comedies, soap operas. 4. Children are fond of cartoons. 5. This hobby helps them to relax , to listen to classical music, to see famous people. 6. This hobby is a good friend for people. (watching TV)

10 . Подведение итогов урока. Рефлексия.Домашнее задание

Now our lesson is going to the end and I want to thank everybody. Now you know the names of different hobbies, different grammar structures, you can tell about your hobbies and about your friend’s hobbies. And I enjoyed your work very much. And your marks are good. And your homework will be a project. I want you to draw hobbies of your family and tell us about it.

Teacher: Give these cards and draw a happy or a sad face.
