Eton school is one of the oldest and best known public schools for boys. It is situated at Winsdsor, in Berkshire on the river Thames. It was founded in 1440. Prime ministers of Britain were educated there.

Harrow is a British public school for boys in London. It is one of the most expensive and prestigious public schools in Britain. It was founded in 1571 and is a traditional competitor of Eton College.

Winchester College is a well known public school in Winchester in Hampshire. It was foundedin1382 by bishop of Winchester.
