USE

We use the present perfect to describe an event or personal experience in the past without a specific time.

-to talk about things that have happened up to now

• SINCE/ when/ FOR / a length of time/

-1995, -five years,

-last month, - two months,

-Monday, - a week,

-ten o’clock - an hour,

- three days…

AFFIRMATIVE

• We form the affirmative form with the helping verb have / has + past participle ( V3 ).

 HAVE/HAS V3

• I have help ed /gone we have help ed /gone
• You have help ed /gone you have help ed /gone
• He has help ed /gone they have help ed /gone
• She has help ed /gone
• It has help ed /gone

INTERROGATIVE

• We form questions with regular and irregular verbs in the present perfect with have / has + past participle ( V3 ).

HAVE/HAS  V3 ?

• Have I help ed /gone? Have we help ed /gone?
• Have you help ed /gone? Have you help ed /gone?
• Has he help ed /gone? Have they help ed /gone?

NEGATIVE

• We form the negative form of regular and irregular verbs in the present perfect with have / has + not + past participle ( V3 ).

 HAVE/HAS NOT V3

• He has not help ed /gone they have not help ed /gone
