 Цели урока  обучающая: повторить лексические единицы по теме, систематизировать знания по данной теме, закрепить грамматические навыки, тренировать навыки и умения в письме, аудировании и говорении. развивающая: развивать умение учащихся практически использовать формы английского глаголы, понимать иноязычную речь на слух. воспитательная: способствовать воспитанию уважительного отношения к культуре страны изучаемого языка

 IT IS INTERESTING Language is the road map of a culture.  It tells you where its people come from and where they are going. To have another language is to possess a second soul.  A different language is a different vision of life.  If you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his head.  If you talk to him in his language, that goes to his heart.  Knowledge of languages is the doorway to wisdom.

 Vocabulary Section Translate the following words,  pay attention to the parts of speech.  attending ( verb ): going to  - I'm thinking about attending a language school in England next fall.  emphasis (noun): special or extra importance that is given to an activity or to a part or aspect of something.  They placed great emphasis on the individual's freedom.  content-based classes ( noun ): classes that focus on a particular subject  - This program is well-known for its emphasis in content-based classes such as engineering.  literacy ( noun ): the ability to read and write  - Literacy is one key to educating the public.  deadlines ( noun ): dates by which something must be done or completed  - What is the deadline for submitting my application?  applicant (noun): someone who makes a formal written request to be given a job or a place at a college. - Employer must be prepared to screen resumes and juggle phone calls from hundreds of applicants.
