The aim of the lesson:
Expand vocabulary on the topic "Education".
Today we will learn new words.
Elementary school - a primary school for the first six or eight grades; a school where children were taught between the ages of five and thirteen.
Private school - a private school is a school which is not supported financially by the government and which parents have to pay for their children to go to.
School uniform - is the clothing pupils are required to wear at school.
School student - a person who is enrolled for study at a school.
Start school - start going to school, start learning.
Compulsory subjects - are the subjects you need to study in order to successfully pass the final exam. They are mandatory courses that you must study.
Public school - (in the UK) a private fee-paying secondary school; (in the U.S.) a school supported by public funds.
High school - a school usually including grades 9–12 or 10–12; a high school is a secondary school, where teenagers are educated before starting college or getting jobs.
School bus - is a special bus which takes children to and from school.
Attend school - to go regularly to a school as a student.
Finish school - graduate from school.
Elective subjects - are subjects you can choose. They allow you to study topics that interest you.
Secondary school - is a school for pupils between the ages of 11 or 12 and 17 or 18.
School teacher - a person who teaches in a school.
School library - a library within a school where teachers and students have access to books and other resources.
Go to school – to study at school.
Leave school - stop attending school on reaching a certain age; go home from school.
