Урок - активизация лексического материала по теме "Известные политики"

Цель: Активизировать изученный лексический материал на уровне слов, словосочетаний и предложений в устной речи.

Задачи:

1. Учебные:

- Обучение использованию изученных ЛЕ в устной речи.

- Дальнейшее развитие коммуникативных умений для совершенствования

речевой активности каждого ученика.

1. Развивающие:

- развитие внимания при работе с текстом.

- развитие умения извлечь необходимую информацию из источника на базе изученного лексического материала.

- Развитие навыков аудирования на базе изученного лексического материала с целью подтверждения или опровержения предположений.

3. Воспитательная: воспитание чувства долга ответственности.

Оборудование: портреты, компьютерная презентация к уроку.

I. Организация начала урока.

-Good morning, pupils!

-I’m glad to see you, sit down please..

- Who is on duty today?

-Who is absent today?

II. Речевая зарядка.

Ok, now let’s remember some famous people. What people are often popular? (celebrities, writers, actors…politicians)

III. Активизация лексического материала по теме «well-known politicians».

T: So we can see that people of different professions can be famous. But as we speak about politics, we can call presidents, diplomats, prime-ministers, leaders of movements and so on. They are politicians. Politicians like other people can also be unpopular. But according to these photos (presentation) we’ll speak about another kind of politicians. Define the theme of our lesson, please.

1. Words and words combinations.

2. Translate sentences from Russian . into English using necessary vocabulary.

IV. Работа с текстом.

Развитие умения извлекать необходимую информацию из источника на базе изученного лексического материала и отвечать на поставленные вопросы.

T: We should work with the short texts about well-known politicians now. Open your textbooks on page 66, please. What do you see? (different politicians)

T: Yes. Some of them are known to you, aren’t they? Gorbatchev, for example. The names of others you’ll learn today. Let’s answer questions taking the necessary information in the according text.

V. Физкультминутка.

It’s time to have a rest now. Stand up please and repeat after me:

Hands on the head

Hands on the hips

Hands on the table

Hands like this

Hands on the shoulders

Hands up and down

Hands behind the head

And sit down.

Дети вместе с учителем произносят слова зарядки, выполняя действия, о которых в ней говорится. Начинают медленно, несколько раз, постепенно ускоряя темп.

VI. Совершенствование навыков аудирования. (If we have time)

Look at the exercise 6 page 64. We’ll listen to the text about M.L.King the leader of a movement for civil rights of lack Americans. Read the task and prepare yourselves to listening.
