Внеклассное мероприятие « День Святого Валентина»

Со студентами мы подготовили праздник под названием «День святого Валентина». Его называют также днем всех влюбленных. Отмечается он, как известно, 14 февраля.

Студенты подготовили открытки в виде сердечек со своими пожеланиями, разучивали стихи, песни, новые слова по теме, знакомились с информацией о празднике, широко отмечаемом в англо-говорящих странах. Oни вырезали из картона сердечки с пожеланиями, писали приглашения педагогам , учащимся. Было подготовлено музыкальное сопровождение. Кабинет, в котором проводился праздник, украсили плакатами, картинками, воздушными шарами, игрушками.

На столе дерево удачи. На нём сердечки из бумаги с надписями и номерами. Перед входом в зал ведущие раздают участникам праздника номера.

В самом начале праздника ведущие называют номера, прочитывают пожелания с этими номерами, размещенными на дереве удачи, и вручают их ребятам, обладателям этих номеров, с символическими подарками.

Привожу ниже сценарий праздника.

I. Ведущий: Today we celebrate one of the best holidays, which young and old people love. It is St. Valentine` s Day.

II. Ведущий: St. Valentine` s Day is a religious holiday, which is celebrated in Great Britain, in many European countries and in the USA.

St. Valentine` s Day has roots in several legends. One of the early symbols of love is Cupid, the Roman God of Love, who is represented by the image of a young boy with and arrow.

I. Ведущий: Valentine was a Christian priest in Roman empire three hundred years after the death of Jesus Christ. He had been thrown in prison for his teaching.

II. Ведущий: On February 14, Valentine was beheaded, not only because he performed a miracle-he cured the jailer` s daughter from her blindness the night before he was executed-but he wrote a letter to the girl, signing it "From your Valentine".

T. Dear friends, what legends about this day do you know? Please, don`t be shy, tell them to us. Ребята готовились к празднику. Они рассказывают другие версии легенды о святом Валентине.

Pupil: Another legend tells us that this same Valentine, well-love by all, wrote notes from his jail to children and friends who missed him.

Pupil: Another Valentine was an Italian bishop who lived at about the same time. He was imprisoned because he secretly married couples, contrary to laws of the Roman emperor.

Pupil: February 14 was also a Roman holiday, held in honour of the Goddess of Love. Young men by lottery chose the name of a young girl to escort to the festivities. The custom of choosing a sweetheart on this date has continued to our day. People still believe that birds pick their mates(male or female) on February 14.

Для игры "Валентин и Валентина" ведущий предлагает выбрать пары.

Ведущий (мальчик) обходит девочек. Каждая девочка бросает ему в коробку записки со своими именами.

Пока ведущие собирают записки, ребята хором исполняют песню "I just called".

После того как песня исполнена и записки собраны, ведущие достают из коробок по одной записке и объявляют имена. Названные девочка и мальчик становятся друг с другом.

III. Конкурсы и викторина.

1. Девочка и мальчик представляются друг другу. Например:

My name is ....

I am a pupil of the.... grade.

I am from school No...

My hobby is.... .

Пары под музыку проходят по сцене. Члены жюри выставляют баллы по пятибалльной системе. Они показывают карточки с баллами ведущим, которые подсчитывают баллы после каждого конкурса.

2. Участникам конкурса предлагается прочитать наизусть стихотворение о любви или по теме праздника. Например:

Roses are red,

Violets are blue,

Sugar is sweet

And so are you.

Here` s a special Valentine

With lots of love for you.

And since you` re very special

Here are hugs

And kisses too.

Если участники конкурса испытывают затруднение, прочитать стихотворение могут болельщики.

3. Для конкурса открыток с пожеланиями требуется цветная и белая бумага, фломастеры или цветные карандаши, ножницы, клей, кисточки. Каждая пара готовит открытку с пожеланиями на английском языке для другой пары. Пожелания могут быть такими:

For a nice pair.

For a special friend or for special friend.

Wouldn`t let this day go by.

Without a special Valentine «Hi».

Пока участники конкурса готовят открытки, проводится викторина для болельщиков.

4. Викторина"What do you know about St. Valentine`s Day" 1.What holiday did people celebrate in Rome many years ago? ( a Roman holiday, held in honour of the Goddess of Love).?

2. Who was the Valentine who lived three hundred years after the death of Jesus Christ in the Roman empire?(a Christian priest).

3. What did he do the night before he was executed? (He wrote the jailer`s daughter a farewell letter, signing it "From your Valentine".

4.What is St. Valentine’s day now? (It is a day for sweethearts.)

5.What can you do on this day? (send a postcard with the words of love to any person, bake a special cake, make a special present in the form of a heart, send roses, “Valentines” and greetings)

6.How do American children celebrate this holiday at schools? (On February 14 the teacher opens the box and gives the Valentines to each pupil, then they have a small party with refreshments.)

За правильные ответы и дополнения болельщики получают жетоны из картона в виде сердечек.

Открытки с пожеланиями готовы. Члены жюри показывают открытку зрителям и прочитывают пожелание. Зрители аплодируют. Побеждает участник конкурса, заслуживший самые энергичные и продолжительные аплодисменты.

IV. Музыкальная пауза.

В зале полумрак. Объявляется музыкальная пауза. Звучат современные мелодии, и участники конкурса танцуют.

V. Конкурсы.

1. Девочки и мальчики стоят напротив друг друга на расстоянии десяти шагов. Они делают друг другу комплименты на каждый шаг, пока не встретятся. Например: my sweet; you are good; you are beautiful; you are wonderful; you are nice и т.д.

I.Ведущий What is this poster for? What is it?

II.Ведущий It’s a donkey.

A donkey? But where is the tail?

It’s for game “Pin the Tail on the Donkey”. You must pin the tail on the donkey, but it is not easy because you cannot see. You have a scarf over your eyes. Who puts the tail nearest to the right place is the winner.

Победителям этого конкурса вручаются жетоны.

Конкурс: Нарисуй идеал женский/мужской красоты. Участвуют 2 команды: 1 команда- девушки, 2 команда - юноши. В каждой команде по 4 человека. Задание выполняется за 1-2 минуты, пока звучит музыка. Участники одновременно рисуют потрет юноши/девушки. Затем описывают его на английском языке.

Проведи пословицу ( найти русский эквивалент).

Жюри подводит итог и объявляет победителей и призеров. Им вручаются подарки. Участники и зрители вместе поют “Yesterday”.

Подвожу итог, обращаясь к ребятам с такими словами: We’re talked quite a lot about St. Valentine’s day today. It’s very pleasant to see that all of you like and know something about it. I think that you enjoyed the party.
