1. You are a holiday representative. Make a list of things you can offer your clients. Use exercises 1 and 2, p. 96, SB as a hint.

2. If you ever go on holiday and stay at a hotel – it’s of great importance for you to read the sign correctly, so that you can get useful information. Let’s try with some of the signs. Match the sign with the meaning.

8. Say these tongue-twisters as fast as you can and correctly! Make a contest: Who can pronounce the sentences below in the fastest and most correct way!
10B What’s the weather like?
1. What’s your favourite season? Why? What weather do you feel better in? What do you like doing in such weather? Share your ideas with your deskmate. Compare your answers. Report about differences/similarities to your groupmates.
2. Make a list of things people can do when it is:
Think of outside and inside activities.
3. Visit www.gismeteo.ru and study the weather forecast for tomorrow in Moscow, your home town, London and your favourite city. Make a chart and present it to your classmates. Make a report. Don’t forget to use adjectives (p. 98, SB).
4. Group the words from ex. 3, p. 98. Add some more items for each weather.

2. Project. You are going to spend a weekend in Vladimir – a city with amazing cathedrals and churches which can speak the history of Russia. Look at the pictures and make a tour for your family. Say what you are going to visit. Use the Internet (http://www.vladimir-city.ru) to find out any hotels where you can stay, cafés you can have lunch at, museums/sights to visit. Make a plan for your fabulous weekend in Vladimir.
