The popular film-maker, J.J., has just released a new film. It’s about a writer and it’s called My Novel. All the papers have been writing articles about it, and Cinema-goer magazine has published an exclusive interview with the film-maker. So far, we can say that the reactions differ. The broadsheets speak about a well-made version of a famous biography. The tabloids have alarming headlines, more about the relationship between the film-maker and the writer than about the film. The interview tells us more. In it, J.J. says that My Novel is his life’s work, and that he doesn’t care what the papers and review say.
