In the first year of study, students study such subjects as English, French, Latin, mathematics, biology, chemistry, physics, history, geography, art, music, religion, computer science, and design. Students can also study Greek, Chinese, German or Spanish.
Over the next two years of schooling, students are being tested in many subjects, and by the end of the third year they already have grades in English and literature, French, mathematics, religion, and science. The sixth grade of education that follows is the choice of 4 core, core subjects, on which the schoolchild AS level is concentrated, followed by the last level A, on which there are three main subjects.
Along with the classical education in various sciences, arts and languages, which the Harrow boys receive, special importance in school is traditionally given to the sports training of students. For example, annual cricket competitions held between Harrow and Eton College teams have a history of more than two hundred years. Harrow School is also known for the fact that squash was invented here. Football has also been given great importance since the second half of the 19th century.
