English tea-time

ENGLISH TEA-TIME  (учебно-ролевая игра для учащихся 5-6 классов)

Цель: повторение изученных конструкций, диалогов, лек­сики.

Задачи: приблизиться к культуре, обычаям другой страны.

Функции: развивающая, коммуникативная, самореали­зующая..

Подготовительный этап.

Дети заранее начинают готовиться к игре. В 5 классе объяв­ляется конкурс "Design your teapot". Выставка работ представля­ется во время игры. Учащиеся 5 класса делятся на 4 группы, ка­ждая из которых готовит блюдо и рецепт этого блюда: 1 - scones, 2 - toasts, 3 - tea, 4 - dialogue.

Учащиеся 6 класса также делятся на группы, которые гото­вят: 1 - invitations, 2 - place markers, 3 - name badges, 4 - fortune tree, 5 - crackers, 6 - "Put the tail on the Donkey", 7 - surprise, 8 - balloons. Таким образом, организуется праздничное чаепи­тие, где дети пробуют не только английские сладости, но и иг­рают в те игры, которые обычно практикуются на вечеринках в Англии.

Ход игры

Дети проговаривают все рецепты, готовят всю атрибутику к вечеринке, поют песни, повторяют диалоги.

1. Вступительное слово учителя.

Teacher. Good afternoon, Dear friends! I am very glad to see you at our party. Today we will act, play and eat English dishes. Now let's begin our lesson. First of all before you go to the party you receive an invitation. Pupils from the 6th form know how to do it and they have prepared them for you.

1. Представление программы учащимися 6 класса.

Invitations (выходит группа (2-3 человека) из 6 класса с при­глашениями для всех присутствующих. Они раздают приглаше­ния и рассказывают, как это делается).I cut the card in the form of a balloon, glue it to the envelope and put a piece of string on it. Then I write the invitation on the balloon.

Teacher. When your friends have invited you to the party they begin to prepare everything.

Place markers (готовят для всех и рассказывают учащиеся 6 класса).

I took a piece of card about 10 cm by 10 cm and cut it in the form of a balloon. Then I wrote the name, and folded the balloon in half so that it stands up.

Name badges (6 класс).

I cut a piece of card in the form of a balloon and glue a piece of string on it. Then I write the name of a guest on each badge so eve­rybody knows who is who.

Каждому прикалывают на грудь name badges.

Teacher. The date of the party has come. You are at the door.

Dialogue "Saying Hello" (6 класс)

Mum. Answer the door, Jane.

Jane. I'm coming. Just a minute. Hello, Ann. Come in.

Ann. This is my friend Richard.

Jane. Hello, Richard.

Richard. Hello, Jane.

Jane. This is my brother John.

Richard. Hi, John.

III. Выступление с программой учащихся 5 класса.

Teacher. So your friend invites you to the table. You can see scones, toasts, tea on the table. Would you like to know how to cook them? Listen to your friends.

Scones - 5 класс (учащиеся пекут булочки для всех и расска­зывают способ приготовления).

1. Mix the flour and baking powder.

2. Add the butter, sugar, raisins, an egg and milk.

1. Roll out the pastry to about 1 cm thick.

2. Cut into rounds.

3. Bake 15-20 minutes in a hot oven. Enjoy your scones.

Дети угощают всех булочками.

Toasts - 5 класс (учащиеся показывают и комментируют способ приготовления).

1. Cut a slice of bread.

2. Put it in the toaster.

3. Wait a minute. It's ready.

4. Put the toast on your plate.

5. Put some butter on it.

6. Put some jam on the toast. Enjoy it.

Tea - 5 класс (показывают и рассказывают прямо на уроке).

1. Fill the kettle with cold water.

2. Boil the water.

3. Warm the pot.

4. Put one teaspoon of tea in the pot for each person and one ex­tra for the pot.

5. Pour hot water into the pot. Enjoy your tea.

Dialogue "At the Table" (5 класс)  Jane. Help yourselves to the scones, please. Would you like a cup of tea?

R i с h a r d. Yes, thank you.

Jane. White or black?

Richard. Black, please.

Jane. Would you like some more toast?

A n n. No, thanks, I haven't eaten my first piece yet.

Mary. May I have another scone?

Jane. Yes, certainly.

Richard. Could you pass the sugar, please?

Jane. Here you are.

Все присутствующие пьют чай со сладостями.

Teacher. Dear fiends! Don't you know that out English Friends not only have tea at their parties, they also like to play. Would you like to play?

IV. Поиграем вместе.

Fortune tree (учащиеся 6 класса готовят это чудо-дерево, а затем присутствующие играют).

I've made a fortune tree for the party. First of all I put the colored paper on the bowl and a large piece of plasticine into it. I then put the branch into the plasticine. After that I wrote fortunes on pieces of paper and put them with the sweets on the tree.

Вместе с пожеланиями на дерево можно повесить задания: sing an English song, recite an English poem, dance и т. д.

Crackers (учащиеся 6 класса готовят для всех).

I wrote jokes on paper and put them with the sweets inside the crackers.

Game "Pin the tail on the Donkey" (6 класс).

Дети готовят плакат с нарисованным ослом без хвоста. Хвост готовится отдельно из ниток. Дети выстраиваются в ряд и по очереди подходят с закрытыми глазами и прикладывают хвост. Побеждает тот, кто ближе всех приложил хвост.

Game "Pass the Parcel" (6 класс).

Дети встают в круг и под музыку передают сверток. Когда музыка останавливается, то учащийся со свертком снимает первый слой бумаги. И так до тех пор, пока всю бумагу не развернут.

Теасher. Now let's play the most famous party games: "Pin the tail on the Donkey" and "Pass the Parcel".

"Pin the tail on the Donkey " - First you must put the poster on the wall. Then everybody has a chance to pin the tail on the donkey. It's not so easy because you cannot see. You have a scarf over your eyes. The person who puts the tail nearest to pin to the right place is the winner. "Pass the Parcel" - We all stand in a circle and pass the parcel to the person next tours. There's music playing when we're doing this. When the music stops you take off one piece of paper. Then the mu­sic starts again. The person who takes the last piece of paper off wins the prize.

V. Заключительная часть.

Teacher. Now, our party is over. Our friends from the 6th form have prepared balloons for everybody. They have written a name on each balloon and "Thank you for coming to the party". Have a look. You will go home with them.  Дети уходят с воздушными шариками в руках

STAR HOUR

(игра для учащихся 6-х классов) Задания представлены в необычной форме. Заранее надо продумать состав жюри и паузы между турами. Пока жюри подводит итоги очередного тура, проводится игра со зрителями. Таким образом, все присутствующие принимают активное участие. Заранее готовить участников нет необходимости. Отбор участников происходит во время проведения первого отборочного тура при помощи вопросов. Учащийся, который первым поднял руку и дал правильный ответ, становится участником. Программа: I. Отборочный тур (отбираются 10 участников). II. Тест по теме «Зарубежная литература» (остаются 7 участников). III. Перевод слов за ограниченное время (остаются 4 участника). IV. Видовой ряд (остаются 2 участника). V. Финальный тур - расшифровать слово в схеме (определяется победитель). Каждому участнику, прошедшему в следующий тур, даётся «звезда», сделанная из бумаги. В паузах, когда зрителям предлагаются разные задания, за правильные ответы также даются «звёздочки». По окончании игры определяется победитель, набравший большее количество «звёзд». И г р ы д л я з р и т е л е й: 1.Riddles (между 2-м и 3-м турами). 2.Составить слова из букв слова POLICEMAN (во время 3-го тура, пока участники выполняют задание). 3.Rebus (между 3-м и 4-м турами). (London.) 2-й тур. Test - foreign literature. Каждому из 7 участников выдается листок с написанными 4 фамилиями под каждой цифрой. Учитель задает вопрос или произносит начало фразы, а участники подчеркивают нужную фамилию писателя.
