«Книга в твоей жизни»

Probably everyone has a book that can’t be forgotten. It leaves a significant mark in your life, and this is a kind of a reminder of "that very special masterpiece." This book changes the view on many things, teaches you something. I think it's very cool, if a person has such a book. Thick volumes or a thin little book - it does not matter, the real value of this book is what it brings. It can teach you anything, for example, to appreciate what you have and believing in yourself. I have this book. It's called "An abundance of Katherines."

This is the typical novel by John Green, but for some reason it caught me. This book is about the typical teenager issues such as relationships, learning, youth problems. To be honest, it probably does not help to cope and go through adolescence, but it’s a bit about not quite formal ways to stay in it. This book means a lot to me because it really helped me understand what is happening in the period of adolescence that I’m in right now. Also, that a lot of things will change and all of these changes are for better. It helped me understand that it is not necessary to adjust to the stereotypes of the others, and just be yourself. You must be able to accept yourself for who you are, because we are unique and that's the most beautiful thing about each human’s personality.

My favorite quote from the book is "Normalness leads to sadness." I would recommend this book to young people who has complexes and a low self-esteem, just like I do.
