• Boxing is a sport that causes contradictory feelings. Many people see in him only cruelty, violence and pain. But for me, boxing is much more than that. It's an art, it's a challenge, it's a way to self-discovery and strengthen the spirit. Of course, boxing is not for everyone. But for me it's more than just a sport.

• Modern boxing began to take shape in the early 18th century in England. The first mention of boxing appeared back in 1681, and since 1689, fights have been held regularly.In 1904, boxing was included in the Olympic Games program in St. Louis, and since then it has become popular all over the world.

• The first officially prescribed rules of boxing matches as a sport appeared in 1867. Their development is related to the activities of the Marquess of Queensberry, after whom they were named.Even then, it was determined that fights consist of three-minute rounds, each boxer enters them from his corner of the square ring, the rules of knockdowns and knockouts were formulated, as well as a ban on kicking an opponent and hitting the area below the belt.

In conclusion, I would say that boxing is much more than just a sport. It is an art that requires great dedication, discipline and willpower. It's a difficult dance in the ring, where every punch, every step and every thought matter.
