     Nowadays most young people prefer to find out the plot of the book watching its film version. Personally, I like reading books. I think even a good  film version can’t replace a good book.  I am sure books give us an opportunity to look at the characters differently.  Reading a book a person can understand the author and his ideas better. I guess, books are a treasure-house of knowledge, emotions, feelings and  ideas. Reading a book helps to develop people’s imagination. They can  imagine themselves being in that period of time when the main events take place. I think,  reading a book of classical writer inspires noble emotions in  people’s souls. People analyze actions of main characters and try to become  better themselves. I’m sure books teach us a lot. For example, they teach us to solve  problems, to communicate with people, love nature and take care of it. Moreover, some  books are full of wisdom, they make people think over their life values.  However, most young people prefer watching a film version to reading a good book.  They think that reading is boring and takes a lot of time. Film version consists of not all  facts written in a book. That’s why it is sometimes difficult to understand author’s ideas.  Moreover, we look at the characters like actors look at them. Besides, some film  directors change some facts from the book or add something else.  To sum it up, reading is one of the best exercises for people’s minds. Books can’t be  replaced by film versions because literature is the greatest human property.
