Учебная область: Английский язык, Литература.

Цель урока:Повторить и закрепить знания, умения, навыки по теме «Роль книг в нашей жизни». Расширить представление учащихся жанрах книг.

Развитие универсальных учебных действий в рамках обозначенной темы:

личностные: самоопределение (внутренняя позиция школьника, самоуважение, самооценка);

регулятивные: управление своей деятельностью, инициативность и самостоятельность;

познавательные: работа с информацией, выполнение логических операций: сравнения, анализа, подведение под понятие;

коммуникативные: речевая деятельность, навыки сотрудничества.

Задачи урока:

Учебный аспект:

- активизация навыков употребления лексики по теме «Роль книг в нашей жизни» (личностные УУД);

- в чтении развитие познавательных УУД: чтения с целью понимания общего содержания, чтения с извлечением запрашиваемой информации, чтения с целью детального понимания текста;

- в говорении совершенствование коммуникативных УУД: развитие монологической речи.

Развивающий аспект:

- развитие способности распределения внимания, непроизвольного запоминания, инициативности и самостоятельности (регулятивные УУД);

- развитие логического мышления, языковой догадки (познавательные УУД);

- развитие культуры устного и письменного восприятия иноязычных текстов (познавательные УУД);

-развитие способностей к репродуктивным и продуктивным речевым действиям, развитие умения обосновывать и отстаивать свою точку зрения (коммуникативные УУД);

- развитие познавательных УУД через межпредметные связи (с экологией);

Воспитательный аспект:

- поддержание у учащихся интереса к изучению английского языка через подбор содержания языкового и речевого материала по теме урока и использование современных информационных технологий при подаче материала (личностные УУД);

- воспитание и формирование уважительного отношения к книгам, понимания того, что чтение расширяет кругозор, способствует умственному развитию. (личностные УУД);

Тип урока: интегрированный урок

Методы обучения: проблемно-поисковый, наглядный, элементы метода исследовательского обучения.

Формы работы с обучающимися: фронтальная, групповая, индивидуальная.

Оборудование:

• Презентация под названием “Книга- наш лучший друг” на английском языке.

• Карточки для индивидуальной и групповой работы.

• Yes, I am a book-warm. What about you?

• Unfortunately, I read from time to time as I’m very busy with my lessons.

• What types of books do you prefer?

• As for me, I enjoy light reading like comics, because they distract me from everyday problems. What books do you choose for reading?

• The most interesting for me is classic novel or history book because I like when the book makes me think or gives me information about the past.

• What have you read recently?

• I’ve read “Revisor” written by Nicolay Vasilievich Gogol.

• Can you give me a summary of the plot?

• The plot is clever, fast-paced and exciting. The story is set in Russia in the 19^th century. A young poor student comes to the town named “N” and the local bureaucrats take him for inspector coming they wait for. They are afraid that the inspector investigates their financial crimes and give him money to buy over his indulgence.

• How do you find the ending? Is it also gripping? Has it any unexpected point?

• Yes, the ending is satisfying, everyone gets what deserves.

• What about the characters? Are they realistic and well-developed?

• The main character Chlestakov is unpredictable and causes conflicting emotions. Other heroes are realistic and reveal social problems.

• Who would you recommend this book to?

• I’d recommend this book to classic novel lovers.

Book review

I adore reading. As for me, any book is better than a movie just because there’s no special effects budget in our mind and in our imagination. That is why I try to read first and then to watch a movie. I even have a list of books to read. Talking about the genre, I can say that I like adventure and fantasy stories most of all. Probably it’s the reason why I liked “Harry Potter” most of all. So I’d like to tell you more about this famous book

I think everybody knows the plot of „Harry Potter”. This is a novel about a boy-wizard and about the magic world, about the fight between good and evil, about friendship and honour. The whole generation has been devouring this set of books. But it is not only an interesting thing to read. It teaches children and young people a lot of things. First of all, that good always wins. Second, the most powerful thing in the world is love, especially parents’ love. And the third – it doesn’t matter how strong the evil is. You can conquer it only if you stay true to yourself and only if you have those who love you»

I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys fantasy stories obout the friendship between teenagers. In my opinion it’s the author’s best book so far.
